    The Moon RoomThe Bokeelia Tarpon Inn, which occupies the historic Poe-Johnson home, is located on Bocilla Island overlooking Charlotte Harbor. Guests are afforded magnificent views of the Harbor and its flats, rustic old Florida fishing piers and, across the Harbor, Boca Grande, Bull and Turtle Bays, and Punta Gorda.

    This Florida Bed & Breakfast is located on the very northern tip of tropical Pine Island, in our own little world far removed from the "new" Florida of high-rises and traffic congestion. The only "high-rises" are the palm trees, and the only "commuters" are the migratory birds. Pine Island, on Florida's Gulf Coast, is accessible by car.

    You will enjoy the relaxed pace and warm hospitality of our Bed & Breakfast Inn, along with Bokeelia's several fine restaurants and small artsy shops. Don't forget, Ft. Myers' many attractions are not far.

    • Because our guests select the Bokeelia Tarpon Inn to enjoy our tranquil beauty and, since the Inn is not "child-proof," the Inn may not be suitable for children under ten years of age.
    • Exceptions are made when a group reserves the entire premises, or during Holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, when guests may arrive to celebrate with local families and friends.
    • Children ten - eighteen years may be accommodated in the parents' room for an additional charge of $20.00 per child, per night.
    • If a crib or rollaway bed is needed, notice should be given at the time of the reservation.

    The Bokeelia Tarpon Inn is the perfect setting for Weddings from a small intimate gathering of friends to a guest list of ninety. Some of our Couples have chosen to exchange their vows at our fountain; others have preferred the Upper Porch; and still others have been married Harbor side at sunset. We can provide for all of your wedding needs.
