Our guestrooms are individually decorated with rich colors and luxurious fabrics creating a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Every guestroom has a private bath and is well appointed with sumptuous robes, luxurious bath amenities, sateen sheets and down pillows, featherbeds*, hair dryers and irons. Select rooms feature wood burning fireplaces, whirlpool bathtubs and private decks for added luxury. Each room has cable TV and telephones with voice mail and data ports. A private deck overlooking the pool makes a perfect respite to enjoy after a day in the city. $265 - $395 Il Duomo This third-floor aerie, decorated in rich gold and scarlet, speaks romance! Lounge in the custom made king size iron bed complete with featherbed and breathe in the ambiance conveyed by the grand Gothic windows, cathedral ceilings, skylight, fireplace and wet bar. The turreted bathroom has a gilded domed ceiling, large claw foot tub with elegant rain shower surrounded by a whimsical angelic mural inspired by the frescoes in Florence. $265 - $395 The Jennifer Green Room This serene second floor room features a beautifully crafted Queen size iron bed complete with featherbed and wood burning fireplace. French doors lead to a large flower-filled private deck overlooking the pool and furnished with an umbrella table and chaise lounge for secluded relaxation. The elegant bathroom features an oversized travertine marble shower and sunny vanity area with original lattice shutters. Originally designed for the lady of the house as her dressing room, Jennifer Green has become our most requested guestroom. $245 - $375 Richardson Room Named for the architectural style of our mansion, Richardson Romanesque, this grand room on the 3rd floor features a king size featherbed with a rich chocolate suede headboard. Large windows framed in silk draperies welcome the afternoon sun and an inviting window seat beckons you to enjoy your favorite book. The exquisitely tiled bathroom invites you to relax in the whirlpool tub or under the rain bath shower. $245 - $375 Blue Sky Suite This light-filled third floor suite is decorated in a sophisticated French country style with heavenly blue walls and classic fabrics. Featuring nine foot ceilings, an antique tiled fireplace and original raised wood panels, the spacious bedroom welcomes you with a handsome Queen size four-poster bed. The window dormer is outfitted with built-in benches and table perfect to set up your laptop or visit over a glass of wine. Open the French doors to find a separate sitting room for lounging complete with a daybed and trundle for larger parties. The bright bathroom features a relaxing whirlpool tub for added luxury. A wet bar with mini fridge, coffee maker & microwave complete the room. (This suite can accommodate up to 4 people. Additional fees may apply.) $265 - $395 The Milano This large, luxurious street level suite welcomes you with an upholstered Queen size canopy bed, a Venetian mirrored dresser and a sofa placed under large windows framed with exquisite silk panels. Step into the bathroom and find yourself surrounded in rich amber hued onyx - from the mosaic around the vanity to the large shower complete with a rainbath showerhead. Unwind with a massaging soak in the 2 person air-tub. A flat panel television and heated bathroom floors finish this classically styled room with modern detail. Whether visiting for romance, business or a well deserved getaway, our newest suite is sure to make your stay a memorable one. $265 - $395 The Lighthouse With a nautical theme reminiscent of a Chesapeake Bay lighthouse, this quaint round room with a queen size featherbed is located in the second floor turret. The original details such as plaster crown molding and wood floors makes this small room big on charm. Three wonderful, large windows flood the room with sunlight to visually enlarge the space. The built-in bookcases are filled with sea-faring tales. The cheerful red, white and blue bathroom is complete with a stand up shower. $175 - $225 Mary Rose Room This warm and inviting Queen size room on the second-floor features an upholstered antique headboard and large windows welcoming the afternoon light. A decorative fireplace mantel and original plaster crown moldings reflect some of the nineteenth century craftsmanship found throughout Swann House. The black marble and mirrored bathroom with a traditional tub/shower combination features one of only two remaining pedestal sinks original to the house. $195 - $245 Shanghai'daway This “Zenâ€Â inspired Queen size room located on the lower level of the house features rich fabrics and warm, soothing colors. The bathroom is elegantly tiled with imported travertine tiles and features a large shower with a rainbath showerhead. A custom made bronze counter with a beautiful glass vessel sink complete the room. While Shanghai’daway may not receive the natural light of our other rooms, it makes up for it with charm, privacy and sophistication. $175 - $225 Parisienne Suite Named in honor of the architect and first owner of Swann House, Walter Paris, this very private street level suite is accessed through a gated brick courtyard. Enter into the large bedroom with rich coral colored walls highlighting an elaborately carved queen sized canopy bed. A brick fireplace and eclectic Parisienne decor beckon you to relax in the left-bank inspired pied-a-terre. Large and inviting club chairs positioned in the windowed turret make an ideal spot to curl up with your favorite book. The luxurious bathroom features a stunning marble arched shower complete with two rain shower heads and heated floors. A coffee maker and mini-fridge complete the room. When needed, a second bedroom with a single daybed and trundle can be made available to accommodate larger parties up to 4 people. (Additional fees may apply.) $265 - $395 Nantucket Room This charming room on the 3rd floor is reminiscent of a New England beach cottage. Our smallest room features a queen size featherbed with white washed headboard, whimsical embroidered fabrics and a large window filling the room with warmth and sunlight. The marble tiled bathroom features a large shower. $175 - $225 Serengeti Suite Decorated in rich earth tones and classic safari-inspired furnishings, this very private street level suite is accessed through our gated courtyard. Enter this 2 bedroom suite to find a spacious sitting room with a wood-burning fireplace, down filled sofa and café table. A Queen size bedroom comes complete with down featherbed for added luxury. A second bedroom with a Full size bed is available for larger parties or to use as your private dressing room! The bathroom features two chocolate marble vanities and a generous glass shower complete with imported travertine marble. While not as sunny as some of our other rooms, Serengeti offers comfort, warmth and a great deal of charm. This suite can accommodate up to 4 people. (Additional fees may apply.) $245 - $375 An Enchanting Bed & Breakfast, Meeting and Reception Site Swann House offers our guests an elegant venue for intimate wedding receptions, bridal teas and private parties. The grand ambiance of Swann House is enhanced by spacious rooms with twelve foot ceilings, elaborate crown moldings, in-laid wood floors and crystal chandeliers. Our antique baby grand piano is available to create yet another layer of warmth and elegance to your event. Swann House can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 75 guests for a standing cocktail buffet and 36 guests for a seated dinner.
Meeting and Conference SpaceFor a wonderful change of pace, host your next retreat or business meeting at Swann House. Our beautifully appointed living room can provide an intimate, private and comfortable venue to maximize productivity. We can accommodate up to 14 people in a formal Board Room environment, and as many as to 20 people in a more casual retreat setting. Our dining room, parlor and sunroom easily offer extra space to utilize for break-out sessions. We will assist with audio-visual needs and offer complimentary WiFi throughout the inn. Swann House can provide a delicious continental breakfast including home made baked goods, assorted yogurt, fresh fruit and beverages. All day beverage service with bottled water, coffee and tea is available and we'll be glad to coordinate a catered lunch.
Our Rental Fee for Meeting Space is $125 per hour or $800 per day. Multiple day discounts available. Don't forget accommodations for your out of town attendees!
