It's unusual to find rooms with two beds in a B&B and, as you might expect, Room 102 and 103 are two of the most popular rooms in the house. With two queen-size beds each, these large sunny lower level rooms are a perfect accommodation for two friends traveling together, a parent and child checking out local universities, or two parents and a child sightseeing in DC.Please note that if you are booking this room for three guests, one of the guests must be a child.

Room 111 - Red Kashan

$210 - $275This large and slightly whimsical first floor room has a queen-size mahogany sleigh bed, an English armoire, a beautiful antique loveseat, dressed in green to compliment the painting on the wall, and a writing desk which also doubles as a dresser.
The still-life on the wall is by Brazilian friend and artist Beto Rossi. Like all of Beto's paintings, the colors are pure Sao Paulo - bright as the Brazillian sun! The floor of this room is covered with a beautiful antique Kashan carpet in deep red with bright blue, yellow and green flowers, showing that, at least in terms of color, there's a lot of similarity between Persia and Brazil.

$225 - $290This large second floor bedroom has an inlaid king-size bed, French armchairs, an oak writing table/desk, and a meditative feeling that is enhanced by the sunlight shining through the cabernet-colored glass lamps.
Maria Consoli’s colorful “Poppies in the Breeze” sits atop the decorative fireplace mantle while the quiet “Hollyhocks” hangs nearby, making this a perfect room for work or quiet reflection. The Persian carpet is a beautiful antique ivory Esfahan.

A gorgeous rose Tabriz carpet with large flowers of bronze and ivory covers the floor and four of Shoshanna Ahart’s floral pastels hang on the wall and above the bed.

Three of Shoshanna Ahart’s floral pastels grace the walls. The antique Persian carpet is an unusual and stunning electric blue Tabriz.

With a pair of comfortable French armchairs, a wonderful Louis Philippe drop-leaf writing table, and an old English dresser, this room is perfect for work or relaxation.

Room 133 - Khaki Meshkabad

$180 - $240This bright, charming third floor room is the smallest room in the house. A queen-size spindle bed in cherry and ebony woods sets the color palette. A light elm writing desk, a mahogany dresser, and an unusual carved oak armoire continue the theme of contrasting wood tones.
The carpet in this room is an antique Persian Meshkabad with a khaki background and lovely dark blue and coral stylized flowers. Complementing the carpet, the walls are covered with antique Arabian prints and Chinese plates - also in dark blue and coral!

Room 134 - Copper Bijjar

Whether you are working, reading, or planning the evening's activities, this room is a warm and intimate retreat.
A great room needs a great carpet. The floor of this room is covered by a vibrant copper Bijjar carpet with a soft green border. Kick your shoes off and enjoy!

The handsome hand-colored Gould hummingbird prints on the walls match the beautiful soft tones of the coral and blue Mahal carpet. Sleep late, read a book, or work at the desk. This room is definitely a peaceful haven. Enjoy!

Policies
Embassy Circle Guest House offers 11 spacious guestrooms and elegant public rooms filled with fine antique furniture, beautiful Persian carpets, and original paintings by friends from around the world. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet each morning, coffee, tea and cookies all day long, and wine and light snacks in the evenings. We know you need to stay connected, so we offer free high-speed internet access throughout the house.

- Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express. Cash and Traveler's Checks are also accepted forms of payment.
- A two-night minimum stay is required. A one-night reservation may be possible depending on our availability. Please call to inquire.
- Notification of cancellation is required ten days prior to your scheduled day of arrival. Cancellation of your entire reservation or any part of your reservation after that date will result in a charge to your credit card for all the nights you cancel. If we are able to rebook your room, we will issue a refund on your credit card for the nights we are able to rebook.
- The Front Desk is open from 8 AM to 9 PM daily. The Front Desk closes at noon on all major holidays.
- Check-in is between 3 - 8:45 PM daily. You are welcome to check in earlier if your room is ready. If your room is not ready, we will be glad to hold your luggage for you.
- Late Check-In: In case of a travel emergency, a late check-in is available until 11 PM for a fee of $35. Late check-ins must be arranged in advance.
- Check out time is 11 AM. You may arrange a late check-out until 12:30 PM only for a fee of $35. We will be glad to hold your luggage until 8 PM on your day of departure.
- Your room rate includes a marvelous breakfast buffet featuring a hot entree (waffles, fritatta, French toast or omelets), smoked salmon and cream cheese, fresh fruit salad, coffee cakes, toast, hot and cold cereals, yogurt, cheeses, coffee, tea and juice. Breakfast is served from 7:30 - 9:30 AM Monday through Friday and 8:00 - 10:00 AM Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
- Parking is available with certain restrictions. If you are driving, please call to discuss parking.
- The Embassy Circle Guest House is a non-smoking property. There is no smoking anywhere on the Guest House property. a 2-night penalty will be charged to any guest who smokes in the house.
- We are not able to accommodate young children.
- We are not able to accommodate pets.
- Occupancy of the Guest Rooms is limited to registered guests.
- The owners and staff of Embassy Circle Guest House come from all over the world and speak English, Arabic, French and Spanish.
- Christmas Closing: The Guest House is closed for the last two weeks in December so that owners and staff can celebrate the Christmas holiday with their families.
