Simple and comfortable, with a touch of luxury, the Cardozo Guest House may be the perfect accommodation for your stay in Washington. This Guest House offers four guest rooms and an efficiency apartment. Three guest rooms are located on the second floor and share a hall bath. The fourth guest room is on the third floor and has a private bath with a Jacuzzi. Conveniently located just North of Logan Circle, the Guest House is less than two blocks from the U. Street/Cardozo Metro station on the Green and Yellow Lines. Many restaurants, shops and evening entertainment options are within easy walking distance in the U. Street commercial district.
Additionally, there is also an English basement efficiency sized apartment. The apartment is furnished with a king sized bed, writing desk, sofa, fully equipped kitchen, bath and laundry facilities.
The Guest House is located at 13th and T. Streets in Northwest Washington, just North of Logan Circle. The home is less than two blocks from the city’s Metro (Green and Yellow lines), at the U. Street/Cardozo station. The new Washington Convention center is just two short stops and the National Mall, with the Smithsonian Museums, Monuments, US Capitol, and White House just a few more stops from the home. Dupont circle, one of Washington’s most vibrant neighborhoods, is a 15-minute walk, or can be reached by subway.Locally, the neighborhood of the Guest House is filled with restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and evening entertainment venues. Some of Washington’s newest nightclubs are within blocks. The Studio Theatre with its live stage, is a 10-minute walk. Fresh Fields/Whole Foods, a CVS pharmacy, several dry cleaners, a laundromat and many unique and eclectic shops are just steps from this home
Special Note: This guest house is a self-hosted property offering clean, simple accommodations in an excellent location. Breakfast is not served, however each guest room (except the Pembroke) is furnished with a small refrigerator and coffee maker. Guests are permitted to use the microwave in the kitchen for reheating prepared foods. City regulations do not allow guests to cook. Rooms are cleaned and furnished with fresh linens upon your arrival, however daily housekeeping is not provided. Bathrooms are cleaned based on occupancy from every day to every 2-3 days. Guest rooms do not have televisions or telephones. Wireless Internet is available for those who travel with their laptop. A television is available in the common living room, no cable. Guests should plan to use their personal cellular phones. Guests with confirmed reservations will be provided with instructions to let themselves into the home. Again, this is a self hosted accommodation.

What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn? We receive many compliments about our exceptionally clean inn and many travelers enjoy how centrally located our property is.
What’s the best kept secret about the area? Visitors are often surprised by just how much there is to do in Washington, D.C. Even more surprising are how many of those things are free!
If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area? For travelers staying more than just a weekend we suggest they take in the sights and visit some of the 15 Smithsonian Museums, 15+ monuments/memorials, and 13+ private museums.
Is there anything within walking distance of your inn? Our guests can enjoy a number of museums, many restaurants and the Metro (subway access to almost anywhere in the city) all within walking distance of our property.
What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area? Washington has more restaurants per capita than any other city in the US. All types of food are available, mostly from local, independent restaurants offer a wide range of cuisine. There are far too many to be able to choose a favorite.
