“I just wanted you to know that Mary Beth and I had the greatest of times staying with you. The combination of hanging out with you and the various guests, eating well, reading, and taking naps whenever we wanted completely took us away from our daily lives—which is kind of what a vacation is supposed to be.”

The mahogany and cedar hope chest at the foot of the bed was the Innkeeper's grandmother's hope chest when she married. The room is also furnished with two bedside dressers.
“The Delaware Inn is a secluded and relaxing island in the busy beach scene. Sharon Janis is a gracious and attentive hostess…. stylishly sophisticated (think Hollywood in the 1930’s) and the breakfasts are deliciously creative and beautifully presented! This is the kind of romantic retreat one would like to keep secret so as to return often.”
Room 5
This room is on the 3rd floor, has a queen size bed and shares a bathroom down the short hallway (shower and tub combination) with Room 6. It is decorated in browns, cherry and lighter reds with light sage colored walls. It is furnished with a dresser, side tables, a reading chair and features black and white photographs of local attractions. This room offers the most privacy and quiet of any room in the house.
“The rooms here are wonderfully done - relaxed and elegant - great attention paid to top notch linens, blankets, towels, etc. None of the terribly chintzy cliche`s often found in B&B's. Sharon is an excellent hostess - bottled water in each room, homemade desserts every evening, and wonderful breakfasts on the porch. The location is perfect - two blocks from the main shopping/dining area and two blocks from the boardwalk - far enough to enjoy the quiet neighborhood, but close enough that we didn't move the car all weekend.”

“I took my partner to Rehoboth to celebrate her birthday weekend. The Inn made it very easy for us with their organization and friendly atmosphere. Sharon was great and very helpful since this was our first time to Rehoboth. Chris the chef made the most delicious blueberry pancakes ever! Our room was quaint and the bathroom was pretty big. I will go back to the Inn year after year. One of the best places we have ever stayed!”
