The Whaler's Inn

Welcome to The Whaler's Inn, winner of the 2010 Golden Pineapple Award for Tourism Image, Mobil Guide Rated Inn just steps from the attractions of Historic Mystic. From the Inn our guests can walk Mystic's lively Main Street with over 75 unique shops, restaurants, historic sea captains' homes, and enjoy Mystic Seaport Museum, as well as the Mystic River Park, docks and schooner fleet. Even the Amtrak station is a short walk from the Inn.

Originally settled in 1684 on the banks of the Mystic River, our village has retained its charm and history as so few places have in New England. Once a booming 19th century shipbuilding center, our connection to the sea is ongoing, and the sailing schooners still pass beneath the Bascule Drawbridge. Our countryside and shoreline is some of the loveliest in all of Southeastern New England.
