Guest Rooms/Rates
Each of our eleven rooms are uniquely decorated with antiques and are individually climate controlled. Other amenities include cable TV with DVD players, free local calling, complimentary signature toiletries, hair dryers, alarm clock radios, ironing boards (irons available from the front desk), and whirlpool baths. Each room is also Internet accessible, either through dial-up or wireless DSL connection.
Ariadne - Room 1
Welcome to Ariadne. Fit for a honeymoon or romantic getaway, this bright, yet soothing, corner room affords views of the Mystic River and Historic Downtown Mystic. A cozy sitting area is arranged in front of a real wood-burning fireplace. This room is the only upper level room with a double size whirlpool bath.
Mystic - Room 2
Relax in the Mystic Room. Quite possibly the most romantic room available! You’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Mystic River; lie in bed and watch the sunrise over the glistening water! A beautifully decorated sitting area with a real wood burning fireplace await you. At the end of your day unwind in the single size whirlpool tub.
Early Dawn - Room 9
Peaceful Early Dawn is decorated in soothing earth tones, with a king size bed, private bathroom with double size whirlpool tub and a kitchenette. You can’t help but sit back and unwind in this serene room as you gaze out onto the Mystic River.
Valiant - Room 11
Valiant is our newest room and is decorated in earthy tones with nautical undercurrents. It has exposed beams to lend a cozy feel to this room, a queen size bed, a single deluxe rain shower and a lovely view of the Mystic River with its own private entrance from the dock.

Second Floor: Victoria (Room 3) - Retreat to Victoria. This room has a very warm and inviting feel, decorated in beautiful earth tones. An inviting sitting area is nestled near several windows, giving you a splendid view of the Mystic River. Light a fire in the real wood burning fireplace and relax while you watch the boats sail by. This room also has a private bathroom with a single size whirlpool tub.
Annie Wilcox (Room 4) - Get rejuvenated in Annie Wilcox. This room is decorated in bright cheerful colors with a brand new king bed. There is a sitting area with cathedral ceilings, views of the Mystic River and a real wood-burning fireplace. The private bathroom is complete with a single size whirlpool tub. Annie Wilcox and Victoria are adjoining rooms - perfect for two couples traveling together!
Summer Girl (Room 5) - Summer Girl splendor! Everyday feels like summer in this room. Decorated in beautiful pastels this room has a queen bed, a sitting area with fireplace and a private bathroom with a single size whirlpool bath. Even when it’s cold outside, you’ll feel like you are in paradise as you look out onto the river in this well-appointed room.
Marie Gilbert (Room 6) - Privacy please? Tucked in the corner of the Inn, Marie Gilbert is a quiet and cozy room, with a queen size canopy bed and grand cathedral ceilings. There is an inviting sitting area and a real wood-burning fireplace overlooking the Mystic River. Soak the day away in the single size whirlpool tub in your private bathroom.
First Floor: Carolyn (Room 7) - Seclude yourself in Carolyn. It is a large room with a spacious sitting area and several windows giving way to panoramic views of the Mystic River. You can indulge yourself in the large private bathroom with double size whirlpool tub. This room is complete with a hidden kitchenette…perfect for a longer getaway.
Kathleen (Room 8) - A vacation suite awaits with Kathleen. You can stretch out and stay for days in this spacious suite. Kathleen is the largest room at the Inn, with a king size bed. A separate sitting area with a television and river views can be closed off for privacy by a wall of French doors. Of course the private bath is also the largest at the Inn, with a double size whirlpool tub and separate stall shower. Kathleen also has a hidden kitchenette. This suite is perfect for a romantic getaway or family escape!
Harmony (Room 10) - Discover old world charm in Harmony. A king size bed is adorned with old church doors as the headboard. Although this room does not have a river view it does have a semi-private entrance off of our dock, large bathroom with a whirlpool tub for two, large comfortable sitting area and a hidden kitchenette. If privacy is what you are looking for, you’ll find it in Harmony.

Policies - Cancellation Policy: Unlike a large hotel, the small and specialized nature of the Steamboat Inn necessitates a different kind of cancellation policy. We have a strict 5-day cancellation policy; if you call within 5 days to your arrival date you are responsible for your entire stay. If you cancel 5 full days or more prior to your arrival date we will refund your deposit of one night’s stay. All cancellations are subject to a $25 fee. No-shows and early departures are responsible for full payment of the entire reserved stay.
- Deposits: We require a one-night deposit at the time of booking. We do not accept reservations without a valid credit card number.
- Rooms & Rates: Rates are based on double occupancy and are subject to change. Only our suites (rooms 7, 8, & 10) accommodate more than 2 adults. There is a charge of $25 for each additional person in a room over the age of 16. We require a two-night minimum on weekends, year round. Summer and Fall Sundays are subject to a weekend rate. Weekend rates apply to holidays. Check-in is at 2:00 PM. Check-out is at 11:00 AM.
- No Smoking: Steamboat Inn is a non-smoking Inn. Violation is subject to a $75 fine per night. If you wish to smoke please do so outside of the Inn.
- Pets: Steamboat Inn does not allow pets.
- Breakfast: We serve a deluxe continental breakfast each morning in our George C. Moon room from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
- Fireplaces: Fireplaces are in operation from October 1st through April 30th. We ask that all guests use them in a responsible manner.
- Room Blocks: There is a $50 non-refundable administrative fee due when blocks of 5 or more rooms are put on hold for your guests. Each guest will be charged a $10 per day housekeeping gratuity for each room. Please call to find out further information on wedding/function room blocks.
