Willowtail Springs and three classy cabins await you amid the sun-washed landscapes of Southwest Colorado. Nestled on an enchanting 60 acres of fields, forests, streams, breathtaking gardens and a large lake filled with bass. Let us help create the perfect getaway for your team. You will be amazed at the increase in creativity and inspiration.
These are most effective with a stay of at least 2 nights or more. Groups of 6 -12 can meet in the work studio, the Treehouse Gallery or the Mancos studio, depending on their needs. Call us to discuss the possibilities.

Tai Chi

Guests can arrange for a Tai Chi lesson or a series of sessions with Lee during a stay with us. Some guests have reserved 10 days to two weeks in one of the cabins and are taking one lesson per day with him to learn the form. This can be done with one to two people for the same hourly rate.
This leaves lots of time both to practice and to explore the rich area of the Southwest, desert, ancient ruins and mountains or Willowtail Springs, an adventure in itself.
The emphasis is usually on health and the development of building continual regeneration in the body.

Workshops & Retreats

Willowtail Springs offers workshops/retreats for groups and individuals in a variety of areas:
General Workshop/Retreats: There are group sessions offered by the day, so that local people can participate without staying overnight at Willowtail Springs, or longer workshops where a stay of several days is arranged. Any class offered at Willowtail Springs is taught by professional teachers who are well established in their field.
Drawing, Painting, Pastels, Alternative Process Photography:
Individual artists rent the Work Studio on the property while they are staying here. Others take part in the group workshops which are offered, either here or in the studio in Mancos.
Writing and Poetry: Guests often come here to finish novels, short stories, poetry and children's stories. Some guests have begun a work of music. They do this in the cabin or on the decks. If they come with family, they often rent the work studio for privacy and concentration while they are here.
We are open to presenters with their own programs and their own students to utilize the facilities at Willowtail Springs or the studio in Mancos.
The new Treehouse/Studio Gallery is a gorgeous place to gather. It is open 9 AM - 4 PM and rents for $200 per day.
The new Working Studio, which is 600 sq ft., is lovely for work or meetings. It is open 9 AM - 5 PM. It is $200 per day depending on the individual or group and whether they are already staying at Willowtail Springs.
The Mancos studio is roomy and versatile. It is good for Tai Chi, Art or meetings. Three separate spaces and two bathrooms are available. It is open 9 AM - 4 PM and is $200 per day for any of the three spaces.
