Lakeside Cabins
Each Cabin has comfortable, elegant interiors furnished with antiques, art, fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens and outside gas grills, as well as a library stocked with books, magazines, movie videos and games. Binoculars are provided for viewing birds and wildlife. TV, VCR, sound system, private phone line is in each cabin and WI-FI is available in the office or in your cabin. Luxurious organic bath products and fresh bouquets of flowers are always provided. Freshly baked bread and granola from our local bakery, eggs, cream, butter, organic fruit, juice, freshly ground coffee, tea and spices provide all the staples you need to create a culinary delight.

The Lakehouse
This majestic two story log home presents dramatic views of the lake and the La Plata Mountains. From the spacious deck watch rainbows, clouds, fish, birds and stars. Listen to the calls of owls, orioles and red winged blackbirds. Hear a kingfisher calling. Smell the pinion and juniper mixed with sage. Stroll down to the boats for a lovely ride or a bit of fishing. A 40-foot ceiling in the living room surrounds you with comfortable antiques and art. A gas fireplace adds ambiance and warmth.The bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed, stained glass windows, views of lush gardens and a sitting room with a western porch and separate entrance. Private, sunny and cozy all describe this room. There is a half bath on the first floor.
Upstairs, there is a separate entrance to a private deck, which sits in the tops of trees and looks at the lake. A full bath with shower overlooks the mountains. The middle bedroom is spectacular with a fabulous queen bed, huge windows facing the lake, treetops, sky, mountains, moon and stars. The "loft" bedroom has a queen bed and windows facing out onto more treetops and stars.Lace curtains, satin quilts, ambient lighting, great views and the large art collection add luxury to the exquisite interiors, without sacrificing comfort or playfulness.
This cabin is ideal for 2-6 people.
We can expand to accommodate up to 8 with a roll away bed or futon.

The Bungalow
Overhanging the lake, this elegant one bedroom log cabin has a queen bed that faces east. In the morning gaze through the billowing lace curtains to see the water's rippling patterns against the backdrop of the La Plata Mountains. A full bath with old fashioned clawfoot bathtub and hand-held shower is entered through a carved wood and stained glass archway. Fanciful art, lovely antiques and the warmth of a gas fireplace add to the feeling that one has been transported to a magical peaceful haven. A small deck faces west to the herb gardens, fruit trees and massive old pinion and junipers.

The Garden Cottage

Set off by itself amid lush gardens, this charming log cabin looks east to the lake and mountains. Guests comment that the east facing deck rivals any place on earth on a sunny morning for yoga, reading or daydreaming. The overstuffed and hand carved furniture are perfect for morning coffee or evening stargazing. Sounds of the stream are often heard woven with the whir of hummingbirds' wings.

The warmth and atmosphere of the interiors are accentuated with antique quilts, hand hooked rugs, whimsical pieces of art and colorful furniture. The bedroom has a queen size bed facing a large bay window opening out into the gardens and wilderness. In the living room, a twin bed that doubles as a chaise lounge has a "pop-up" underneath making a king or two twins. A full bath with shower, hand painted floor and windows facing the gardens.

Reservation Policies
- Book 2 or more cabins for the same night, receive $10 off per night.
- Minimum 2 night stay required.
- An additional charge of $30 per night for less than the minimum stay.
- Additional charge of $30 per person per night for more than the maximum number of people in any cabin.
- Payment is required in full at time of reservation for 4 nights or less.
- A deposit of at least one-half the total amount is due when reservation is made for 5 nights or more. The remainder plus sales and lodging tax is due 30 days prior to your stay.
- We accept Visa and MasterCard.
- There are no refunds, but we will do our best to reschedule you.
- We can also offer you suggestions for trip insurance to cover your accommodations if you are interested.
- Guests are responsible for payment of dates agreed upon regardless of actual arrival or departure dates.
- Check-in is from 4-6p.m., please let us know if you will be late.
- Check-out is 11a.m.
- No smoking anywhere on the property except in your car.
- No fires on the property, we are in the woods and have many fire bans issued in our region.
- We cannot accept pets. Although we love animals, many of our guests are allergic to the pets who would have been in the cabins before them.
