Western Suite

Chalk Bluffs Room

 

The Chalk Bluffs Room and Western Suite have a common area with a picture window and two comfortable chairs. Reading material, coffee pot and a small refrigerator are available to the guests.

 

Chalk Bluffs Room

This room is located on the ground level. It is the smallest of the 3 rooms and has large windows facing West giving guests a first hand view of the mesa like Chalk Bluffs rising above the prairie. A queen sized bed with private bath and shower complete this room. $65 double occupancy per night.

 

Western Suite

Located downstairs our Western room offers a large common area where games and books are available. Brands, spurs and rodeo pictures adorn the wall. Stepping into the spacious bedrooom our guests find a queen sized bed with a quilt made out of jeans, mostly Wranglers and Levis. Table, Satellite TV, Twin Bed, and comfortable arm chair complete the room. An in room telephone is also available. $75 per night double occupancy. If the twin bed is used it is $10 extra.

Upstairs is a large private bathroom that has a tub for two, television set, and shower.

 

 

The Prairie House is adjacent to the ranch house and offers guests two large rooms. Large picture windows face the west giving guests a panoramic view of the Chalk Bluffs and Rocky mountains.

The living room has a moss rock fireplace featuring a mantle made from a large cottonwood tree. This tree originally grew on one of the oldest homesteads in this area. A matching love seat and sofa plus an antique rocker complete the furnishings. The sofa makes into a queen sized bed.

Off the living room is a private bath with a shower as well as a washer, dryer and small refrigerator.

In the bedroom guests can view the short grass prairie and mountains from the sliding glass doors that open onto a private patio. This spacious room has a king sized bed, winged back chair, small table, telephone, coffee pot, and satellite TV. Off the bedroom is a private bath with a tub/shower combination.

The Prairie House is ideal for a family or one or two couples traveling together. $110 for 1 night double occupancy $100 per night for 2 or more nights.
