  • A message from your innkeepers...

The German House is a fitting name, as we relocated here from Germany. We want to make your stay at The German House a truly memorable one. We have collected antiques from Germany for more than 15 years, and all were refurbished by Detlef into the beautiful pieces of days of old. We have always enjoyed the charm and beauty of antique homes and have restored our home to its natural beauty.

Detlef was born and grew up in Germany, and Celia spent more than 13 years as an employee with the U.S. Department of Defense schools there. We can offer you an interesting peek into life in Germany, before and after the fall of The Wall, through personal experiences and memorabilia.

For our visitors from abroad, we both speak German and Celia is also fluent in Spanish. No matter where you come from, our goal is to make your stay in Greeley, whether long or short, a wonderful and memorable experience.
