Travelers are always looking for memorable and relaxing experiences. Let’s discover more through the words of our innkeepers. Many thanks to Gail Riley & Tom Statzell for sharing their own secrets with BBOnline.com! Why do most travelers stay at your inn?
Most travelers stay for romance. We do get a large amount of corporate groups as well.
What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?
I think our customer service is one of the things I can say we are best known for. We also have an amazing breakfast that our guests look forward to. It is a full homemade breakfast and it is included in the room rate. Our Inn is unique in the fact that it is very high end, upscale, yet it has a rustic touch to it. Guests feel like they are being pampered in luxury but are also taken back by the beautiful mountainous surroundings. It is hard to pick what I love most but I would say the property itself is amazing. Bear Creek runs through the front side of our property and we are surrounded by a large rock cropping and just walking distance into downtown Evergreen.
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?
I would say to be in the mountains without having to drive to far as we are just 30 minutes West of Denver.
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?
We had a person stay here recently that travels for a living and loves to stay in B&B’s all over the world. They told us it was the best place they have ever stayed. It made us feel really good.
If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?A traveler should walk into town, go to a concert at Red Rocks, hike, bike, and ski. Evergreen Lake is just walking distance where they can rent paddle boats, canoes, sail boat and in the winter ice skate. There are some amazing restaurants that are in the town of Evergreen as well as a wonderful winery, shops, and galleries. Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?
The lake, town, hiking trails, restaurants, bars, shops, and galleries are all within walking distance.
What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?
The Bistro in Marshdale, a 10 minute drive from here.
Any good area guides/websites that travelers could reference? How many rooms does your inn have?
Do you accept pets?
We do in our Creekside Cottages. $25 pet fee.
