The Aspen
The Aspen, one of our larger rooms, is decorated with beautiful rustic Aspen Furniture. In addition to a King size bed and television with DVD, there is a Day Bed with a pullout trundle and private bathroom with tub and shower.
Listen to the sound of the Animas River and enjoy a view of the San Juan Mountains from this beautiful room.
Columbine
The Columbine room is a charming guest room with lively decor, featuring a Queen brass and white iron framed bed.
This cozy little room has a Day Bed and a Private Bathroom with tub and shower.
Golden Oaks
Golden Oaks is perfect for a romantic getaway. With its large electric fireplace, autumn mural and window bench looking out to the San Juan Forest , this room will provide all the privacy you need to celebrate that special occasion.
In addition to a King Bed & dressing area with vanity, this guest room has a Private Bathroom with Jetted Tub & Shower.
The Pine
Accented by wood paneled walls and earth tones, the Pine Room provides a rustic ambience and is the closest guest room to the outdoor hot tub.
The room features a queen bed and day bed with trundle, writing desk, TV with DVD player and VCR, private bathroom with tub and shower, and a mini-refrigerator.
Riverview
Overlooking the Animas River Valley, the Riverview Room features a four poster cherry wood King Size Bed, antique writing desk and a television with DVD.
This east-facing room, with a magnificent view of the San Juan Mountains includes a large private bathroom with shower.
Writer's Den
The Writer's Den offers a great view of the squirrels and chipmunks scampering playfully through the leaves at the base of our large Oak Tree.
This room, with its private bathroom features a King Bed, Writing Desk and Television.

Policies
- Situated on four wooded acres, this two-level European style country home with six guest rooms is the perfect setting for your well-deserved Colorado vacation. Nestled in Pine and Oak wood forest in the heart of the Animas River Valley, this B&B offers splendid views of the San Juan Mountains.
- Children 6 and over are welcome. If the entire B&B is booked by one group, children of any age are permitted.
- Check In: 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Check Out: 11:00 a.m.

- The innkeepers speak English and German
- Country Sunshine is home to two friendly dogs and a cat
- Guest Rooms are smoke-free and pet free. Smoking is permitted outside
- Alcohol consumption is permitted
- Breakfast is served between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
- Most dietary restrictions can be accomodated
- There is an outdoor hot tub and firepit available
- Ample off-street parking
- Reservations: State and Local taxes may apply
- An advance deposit equaling one night's stay is required at the time of booking
- Group bookings may require a larger deposit
- Peak Season Weekends may require 2-night minimum stay
- Cancellations: If cancellation occurs more than two weeks prior to your arrival date, a full deposit less $15 cancellation fee (per room) will be refunded. If cancellation occurs within two weeks of your arrival date, a fully transferable gift certificate will be issued in the amount of the deposit, minus $15 cancellation fee (per room). Please speak to the innkeeper regarding our policies for group bookings.
