The Ranch House started out as a small Norwegian Homestead that has seen several additions, most recently a large dining room for up to 50 people. The Ranch House is home to four guest accommodations and serves as Ranch Headquarters with its large gourmet kitchen, living room, dining room and back patio area.

The Lake View Suite
Enjoy beautiful sunsets and afternoon breezes while you unwind on your private balcony overlooking the Blue Lake Ranch Estate. This suite is a wonderful retreat at any time of year, with beautiful views of the gardens and grounds. This second-story room has a king bed, gas fireplace, wet bar, separate living room, and large Jacuzzi tub.

The Garden Room
Relax on the chaise lounge in this spacious and private suite with king bed, fireplace, library, and antiques. A sunny porch, through French doors, enjoys the garden and a vignette of Blue Lake below. The large bath has a deep soaking tub and walk-in shower.

The La Plata Vista Room
Enjoy the spectacular views of the La Plata mountains and Blue Lake on the balcony of this room with a king bed, dry bar, fireplace, and Jacuzzi tub.

The Mesa Verde Suite
One of the original Homestead bedrooms, the Mesa Verde Suite, has a sunny travertine-tiled bath with whirlpool tub and shower on the first floor and a long narrow bedroom with sitting area upstairs. The king bed has views west towards Mesa Verde through 12 feet of dormer windows, and the sitting area has a single bed window seat. This suite is a wonderful option for the budget minded traveler and comfortable for 1 to 3 guests.

The Renovated Barn
Home to two suites, a two bedroom and a one bedroom
There are two suites in the renovated barn - the Mountain View Suite and the Pinon Suite. The smaller Pinon Suite is south facing and on the first floor. The Mountain View Suite is north facing and is half of the first floor and all of the second floor (the old hayloft).

The Mountain View Suite
Delight in the majestic mountain vistas from this two story suite with a large garden patio. On the first floor is the living room with Kiva gas fireplace, full kitchen, and full bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a king bed and half bath and an adjoining room with two twin beds.Surrounded with private gardens and just a few steps from the dining room, the Mountain View Suite offers the ideal in convenience and comfort.

Serenade your senses with the fragrance of flowers and a starry evening from this private garden cottage. This suite has a living room with a kitchenette with stovetop, freestanding fireplace, bedroom with king bed, and private bath.

Casa Del Sol
Casa Del Sol
Home to two suites and one sunny room
Ideally placed on the Northeast corner of the Ranch with unsurpassed views of the La Plata Mountains, this Southwest style Casa is surrounded by a prairie garden of native plants and cacti and is frequented by deer and other wildlife. Casa del Sol is home to two spacious suites - the Sunrise and Sunset, and one large room - the Sage Room. These accommodations all have private entrances and outdoor sitting areas and are oriented to create privacy for each accommodation. If however one large party needs the entire building, all the accommodations can be joined through a central hallway and then six to ten guests can be accommodated.

This spacious Casita enjoys mountain views from its covered portal as well as the living room with fireplace, queen sofa bed, and wet bar. The plantation shuttered bedroom has a king bed. The sunny bathroom has a walk-in shower and a whirlpool tub. Handicap accessible.

Antique pine floors and hand hewn beam ceilings create a special Southwest ambiance in this accommodation. The Sage Room
Enter this accommodation through a private coyote-fenced garden courtyard to enjoy this large, sunny room with king bed, gas-burning fireplace, vintage wood floors, original Southwest art, and comfortable sitting area. The limestone tiled bath has a six foot soaking tub with shower.

The Spring House
The Spring House
Home to two large suites, each with two bedrooms and two luxury baths.
Located near the springs that feed Blue Lake, this Southwest style building has two large guest accommodations, Upper and Lower Spring House. Each accommodation has a spacious living room with mountain views, a gas fireplace and mini kitchen. Both Upper and Lower Spring House have two large bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with two twins). Each bedroom is a private suite unto itself with a gas fireplace and a luxurious bath with walk in shower and whirlpool tub for two. Both Upper and Lower Spring House enjoy spectacular views of the La Plata Mountains and the springs and meadows below, where wildlife ventures on a daily basis. Enjoy the sunsets from the expansive covered portals. The living rooms in Upper and Lower Spring House also have two Bancos (extra long twin bed window seats) on either side of the fireplace, an ideal place to nap, read a book, or use for an extra guest. Each accommodation can sleep up to six guests when using the bancos.

Upper Spring House
Enjoy wonderful mountain views from this luxurious second story accommodation. The Upper Spring House boasts two large bedrooms, one with a king bed, the other with two twin beds. Combined with two window seat beds in the spacious living room and the Upper Spring House can accommodate up to six guests. Two travertine tiled bathrooms that have a walk-in shower and whirlpool tub for two complete this luxurious suite.

The Casa del Sombra, House of Shade, is home to the Oak Grove and Cedar Casitas. These two Southwest Casitas (little houses) have it all - wonderful La Plata Mountain and garden views, privacy, spaciousness, and are the ultimate in comfort. Although very private from each other, these two accommodations can be connected through a central hallway creating one large accommodation for 4 - 8 people, ideal for friends or family traveling together.

The Cedar Casita
This Southwest-style Casita has a large living room with gas fireplace, a window seat that converts to a twin or king bed, and a wet bar. The bedroom with king bed has mountain views and a private patio. The sunny bath can be separated into two baths by a pocket door, one side having a whirlpool tub for two and the other a walk-in shower, making this Casita ideal for two to four guests. This Casita can be joined to the Oak Grove to accommodate four to eight guests.

Oak Grove Casita
This Southwest-style Casita has a large living room with gas fireplace, wet bar, and a sleeping alcove with twin bed bancos. The bedroom with king bed has mountain views and a private patio. The sunny bath can be separated into two baths by a pocket door, one side having a whirlpool tub for two and the other a walk-in shower, making this Casita ideal for two to four guests. This Casita can be joined to the Cedar Casita to accommodate up to eight guests.

The Cabin On The Lake
The Cabin On The Lake
One large three bedroom, three bath cabin
Offering the ultimate in privacy, the Cabin is the only accommodation on Blue Lake. Made from locally hewn ponderosa pine, the Cabin overlooks the trout-filled Lake and has dramatic mountain views especially from the wrap-around deck. The living room has a large stone fireplace and handmade log furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining area has a grand view of the lake and mountains. There are three bedrooms, one on each floor of the three story Cabin. The master bedroom, on the third floor, has a king bed, wood burning fireplace, and a bath with walk in shower. The 2nd floor cozy bedroom has a queen bed and bath with tub and shower. The large 1st floor bedroom has a private entrance with two queen beds and full bath with tub and shower. This quintessential Colorado Cabin is comfortable from two to eight guests.

The River House
One Mile from the Main Inn, on 80 acres and the banks of the tranquil La Plata River, this large Southwest style cottage has a great room with full kitchen, washer/dryer, reading nook with two twin beds and half bath. There are two large bedrooms, each with a king bed, fireplace and luxury baths with walk in showers and whirlpool tubs. The lovely patio overlooks the river.

Policies
- Our rates are seasonal and are based on double occupancy with a two-night minimum stay.
- For single occupancy subtract $20, and for each additional guest over double occupancy, add $20 per person, per night. No charge for children under 2 yrs.
- Check-in time is 3 to 6 pm and Check-out time is 11 am. Please let us know if these times do not work for you and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
- Fall rates apply to Thanksgiving, Christmas and special events.
- Individual reservations require a deposit of 50 percent of the total lodging cost.
- If your plans change we will be happy to refund your deposit less a $30 per room handling fee, provided we receive notice at least 30 days prior to your visit.
- Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved, regardless of their actual arrival or departure date.
- Groups reservations (3 or more rooms) and Holiday reservations require a three night minimum stay and payment in full 60 days prior to arrival.
- A complimentary full Southwest style buffet breakfast is served daily in the Main Inn. In addition to fresh fruits, berries, cereals, yogurt, meats, cheeses and tamales, a Regional entrée is prepared daily. Breakfast is topped off with fresh roasted coffee, teas and juices. Guests enjoy dining in the dining room or outdoors on the garden patio overlooking Blue Lake, weather permitting.
