Delta Bed and Breakfasts
Delta is 276 miles southwest of Denver on Colorado 50. If you happen to be staying at your Delta bed and breakfast during late November, you might be able to see the Catch the Glow Festival, a day of carolers, pony rides, hay rides, Santa and his elves, playful costumed street characters, and special shopping offers and hours. A trip here in early December will have you take a step back in time for an old-fashioned holiday experience, with a parade of lights, carolers, Victorian home tours, a visit from Santa, holiday tea and Victorian-style dinner. A natural wonder that many people visit this town for is Seven Falls. Learn about the area's unique geology, wildlife and cultural history as you walk along the streets of the city. Railroad lovers will want to pitch a tent in a Delta B&B or Delta inn to see visit and ride one of America's authentic steam railroads. The Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad are 64 miles of tunnels, trestles, valleys and gorges, crossing the Colorado/New Mexico border 11 times. There's also BedRock Depot, an "oasis in the wilderness."
