The Summit House Inn, a Colorado Springs Bed and Breakfast, welcomes you! Behind the front door of this stately 1920 Colonial Revival home awaits a quiet retreat. Nestled in the historic North End of downtown Colorado Springs, you will escape the demands of work and daily living for restful days spent lodging with a view of Pikes Peak. Committed to "new heights in hospitality," innkeepers John and Carol have successfully blended the comforts of modern living with the "gentle and gracious" influences of the past. Numerous common areas in this exquisite Colorado bed and breakfast beckon you to relax, read, daydream, plan, and converse with an opportunity to rediscover yourself. A large yet intimate living room, sunny library, upstairs sitting room, and a meandering private garden are just a few of the spaces that encourage rest and revitalization.
Are you thinking of an intimate wedding or commitment ceremony? Invite your guests and provide the flowers, license, and the officiant. The Inn is the perfect place for a small ceremony in the living room in winter or the garden in summer, and the European Provincial Suite can be your honeymoon retreat. The Inn can also support day or evening events/meetings for those interested in meeting and staying in the same location. Whether you stay here during a relaxing Colorado Springs vacation or you're shopping for Colorado wedding venues, you will experience an uncommon level of care and attention to detail.
You will be welcomed with a reception of savories or sweets and beverages between 4 and 6 p.m. John and Carol's years of travel ensure a unique delight from somewhere in the world with a different specialty everyday. For in-between times, self-service snacks and beverages are available throughout your stay on the bedroom level. Fresh morning coffee and tea are also available prior to breakfast service. Our gourmet breakfast is sure to be a highlight of your Colorado Springs vacation. Innkeeper/owner, Carol Harper, previously a catering manager in Europe, welcomes and treasures the opportunity to present delicious and eye-pleasing repasts. A full, gourmet breakfast is served in the formal dining room between 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. weekdays and between 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

The guestrooms are uniquely styled, ranging from antebellum charm to romantic European elegance to the mystery of the Far East. Each room of our Colorado Springs inn contains a writing desk, seating area, cable TV, music system, and air conditioning for your pleasure. Luxurious linens and bedding further enhance your comfort. Plush, terry cloth robes are provided for use in your room or to access the outside hot tub for a session of soothing jets and stargazing. The Summit House Inn B&B is equipped with Wi-Fi Internet access and free US long-distance telephone service for your convenience or business needs. William and Mary Guest Room The William and Mary Guest Room is furnished with pieces from the 1840s to 1900 depicting a time of antebellum charm, great romance, and luxury. This large, original master bedroom is furnished with a queen-size, orthopedic, high-density foam adjustable bed, which promises a deep and peaceful slumber. The attached, private bathroom brings the exotic "East meets West" experience. The Asian-influenced bathroom is equipped with a steam, rainforest, hand-held massage shower. $130
European Provincial Suite The European Provincial Suite contains furnishings from the 1870s to 1920s accented with Northern Italian and French pieces. This three-room suite includes a spacious sleeping chamber with a queen-size, pillow-top mattress and a separate sitting room with views of the garden and mountains. The large bathroom with a rainforest shower and a whirlpool tub for two (or one) is perfect for your Colorado honeymoon or just to wash away the stresses of the day. $149
Eastern Jewel Guest Room The rich jewel tones and ornate detailing of this guestroom echo the adventure and mystery of the Indian subcontinent. Amidst the 1890s Eastlake queen bed with pillow-top mattress and other furniture are a collage of objects d'art, silk accents, and temple relics from John and Carol's stint in India. The original upstairs bathroom decorated with marble and rich red walls features a large soaking tub/shower for your exclusive use. $95

- No more than two may occupy a room.
- Regular rates include full breakfast.
- Please inquire about corporate, government, and multi-night discounts.
- A deposit equal to first night's stay is required.
- Final payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, check or cash.
- Check-in 4 to 7 PM unless otherwise arranged.
- Check-out by 11 AM.
- Minimum two-night stay on weekends, June 1st to October 1st.
- Minimum three-night stay on certain holiday and event weekends.
- Children over 11 years accommodated.
- No pets / No smoking
- With less than seven-day notice of cancellation, the first night of the stay will be charged.
- Sales tax and lodging tax totaling 10% is additional.
