We celebrate love and romance all year long at The Plains Hotel. The Hotel, wedding Chapel, brides quarters, and old west suite are decorated with all things that complement romance; ie: candles, roses, soft scents, warm lighting ect. We are a full service wedding site, we can accomodate you without any of the organizing hassles. For a beautiful wedding setting without the typical expense, this hotel is a "must see". For our full service weddings and renewals we are giving each couple a gift basket filled with hand embroidered pillowcases, a gift box copy of The Intimate Inquiry, (a fun and wonderful book about communication between couples), massage oil, candles and more. We give a 10% discount to couples that have been married 25 years or more when they renew their vows, (this discount is on the full weekend plan only) We got a call on Monday and had a wonderful wedding for a couple on Thursday...so the only time factor is booking soon so we can reserve the time you prefer. The Historic Plains Hotel, built in 1919, boasts transom windows, long halls, a wide staircase with hand tooled banister, and ample woodwork throughout the building. Original lighting and bathroom fixtures, including claw foot tubs, have been preserved to maintain turn-of-the-century ambiance. Our seven guest rooms located on the upper level feature private baths, cable TV, and telephones. The main floor is home to a cozy, intriguing full-service bar with big screen TV. The small, intimate dining room is used for candlelight breakfasts and romantic dinners for our guests.

If you are looking for a romantic, out of the way place for your small wedding, The Plains Hotel and Wedding Chapel is the perfect place. The small chapel sits only 7 feet from the hotel and was created in 2004; however, the small building that now houses the chapel was built in the early 1900's.
