Table Of Contents
Just 35 miles north of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge, venture into California's beloved Sonoma Wine Country. The air changes as you drive west toward Sebastopol and the farms, forests and vineyards of famously fun and fabulous West Sonoma County and the gorgeous hills and valleys of the Russian River Valley. The charming bohemian town of Sebastopol is a short five miles from Avalon with restaurants and shops galore. Now cross the wooden bridge and enter the enchanted land of Avalon. There you will be surrounded with luxury at this wonderful, secluded B&B nestled in the majestic redwoods.
From this B&B you can visit hundreds of wineries, select from countless world-class wines and enjoy breathtaking and tranquil views. Avalon offers the privacy of only three guest rooms on acres of unspoiled forest with a year-round natural creek. It's awesome to spend the night in the forest listening to the owls hoot and wake up so close to wine tasting and all kinds of fun. Avalon provides quick access for many activities other than wine tasting, as well, including the Armstrong Redwoods State Preserve, the Pacific Ocean, the Russian River, Bodega Bay and other beautiful beaches, many relaxing and rejuvenating spas, horseback riding, hiking, cycling, hot air ballooning, golfing, mountain biking, museums, restaurants and shopping, to name a few.

The breakfasts equal the quality of our suites. Each morning, a gourmet breakfast is prepared using fresh, local ingredients. It may start with butter rum baked Gravenstein apples, a Citrus Napoleon or Grapefruit Brulee. The main plate could be our popular Mexican souffle with salsa and guacamole or banana pancakes with spiced syrup complemented by lemon chicken sausages and fruit. Fresh orange juice and baked pastries complete the meal. Gourmet coffee, with your choice of flavor syrups, packet and loose tea, as well as hot chocolate, are available throughout the day.
In the evenings, make sure to stop by the kitchen to ensure you have 'Sweet Dreams'. Check out our jars of sweets and do not Miss Hilary's homemade cookies baked daily.
