"We stayed for a week at Linda & Norm's &b in July 2012. Their place is very conveniently located to all San Diego has to offer, from La Jolla north, to the Zoo southeast and Coronado Island southwest. Right across the street is Mission Bay and a nice boardwalk for running, biking or just strolling around the water.

We stayed in both the Garden Cottage and Tuscan Room and we're hard pressed to pick our favorite--both were very private with excellent accommodations. The food and drinks that were provided in the rooms were ample and restocked as needed. The flowering plants were wonderful and simply added to the beauty of the courtyard along with the pool.
We primarily interacted with Linda who was as gracious a host as you could hope for. She provided all the information one needs to plan outings (her famous binder!) and allows you as much solitude as you wish.
Linda and Norm's Beach Hut is well-maintained and they basically make it very easy to visit the San Diego area. We had a great time and highly recommend staying at the Beach Hut."

We are at retirement age and this was our first B&B experience. Norm guided us in over the phone as we got off the San Diego freeway. And Linda gave us a warm and special reception. I could not believe the binder she had put together with driving instructions and maps to restaurants, grocery stores and everything else. She had area maps, brochures, etc. etc. etc. The property was cozy and provided a wonderful spot to sit or swim outdoors in the evening. We will be back again. And I cannot imagine that another B&B could ever be better than what we enjoyed at the Beach Hut.

Linda and Norman couldnt have been more gracious hosts and the accomodations were perfect....Very clean, private, located close to the beach, free parking, kitchen in unit, loved the pool and courtyard....overall...really couldnt have been a better experience...loved it.

My wife and I spent three days for our 27th anniversary here. We stayed here in 2010 for the very first time and it has only been improved. Linda and Norm are the consumate hosts, and also very nice people. We stayed in the smaller Garden Cottage this time and it was very nice. Wonderful to be able to step out of the door and be in that little Garden of Eden. Beautifully manicured area, clean, well designed with all types of tropical plants, beautiful small swimming pool, lots of sitting places etc. Just a perfect three days vegging out and dining in some nice fresh seafood places nearby. We'll definitely be back for a third visit.
