History

Built in 1936 for Mr. and Mrs. Fong and their six children, the mansion was designed to be both stately and welcoming. As the official representative of Nationalist China, Mr. Fong represented the Controlion branch of the Chiang Kai-shek government prior to the fall of National China. It is rumored that Chiang Kai-shek may have visited during one of the many functions held in the ballroom.
When the house was completed, one of Mr. Fong's daughters remembers a house warming party that lasted almost three straight weeks. Continuing in the Fong tradition of "over the top" graciousness, the Inn at Parkside honors the Fong family through its innovative fusion of Asian and European hospitality. The Parkside House, which was opened early in 2007, further extends this tradition with extravagant spa slumber rooms for those who prefer a more contemporary, reclusive lodging experience.

Hot Stone Therapy Massage ~ 90 Minutes $130 ~ A massage technique using as many as 25 heated, smooth stones of varying sizes gently placed on or under the body at precise trigger points. The stones are also incorporated throughout the massage to melt away tension in the muscles. Hot Stone massage is a great treatment for relieving stress, and has a profoundly relaxing effect on the mind and body.   

Table Thai Massage ~ 90 Minutes $130 ~ More than a thousand years of history brings us this combination of yoga stretches, muscle massage, stimulation of the body’s meridians with acupressure and joint manipulation. You will want to wear losse fitting, comfortable or yoga-style clothing for this treatment.   

Reflexology ~ 60 Minutes $90 ~ This trigger-point style of massage is the practice of applying pressure to the feet and hands utilizing specific thumb, finger and hand techniques with the use of oil or lotion and focuses on the points in the feet and hands believed to corresponds to each gland, organ and structure of the body.  

Aromatherapy ~  Add to any massage $7 ~
Make any massage an aromatherapy experience. Discuss with the Massage Therapist what essential oils or combination of oils, would be most beneficial for you.  

Rose is a romantic scent that promotes balance & well being.
Lavender is calming & relaxing with a sweet, floral, fresh, herbaceous aroma.
Sweet Orange is uplifting and brings a sense of peace & happiness.
Lemongrass is a light, citrus aroma that is rejuvenating & stimulating.

Hot Stone Foot Release: Extra TLC for your body’s most sensitive area. Relieve tension in all areas of the body with this 15 minute foot focus.

Hot  Stone Shoulder Release: Perfect for those that have extra tension in the neck & shoulders. Let it melt away through the use of heated stones and focused massage.

Scalp Tension Tamer: This soothing scalp massage is perfect for releasing the tensions of the day.

Citrus Body Polish ~ $75  A simply amazing body polish. When massaged into the skin it not only exfoliates with apricot seed granules, but hydrates the skin as the active moisturizer base is absorbed, leaving your skin renewed, soft, silky and hydrated. Pleasantly scented with lemon, orange and lime essential oils. Finish with a citrus scented, relaxing  jacuzzi soak.

Algae Body Polish ~ $75  The marine algae body polish scrubs away dead skin cells, nourishes with essential vitamins and minerals and enhances detoxification.  Finish with an invigorating lavender and eucalyptus jacuzzi soak.

Detoxifying Body Wrap ~ $85  The ultimate treatment to detoxify and hydrate your skin. French Green Clay has blue-green algae & chlorophyll to detoxify and essential fatty acids to improve elasticity. The clay draws impurities out, while Lavender essential oil soothes the skin. Provides cleansing, balancing and healing properties. After the product is applied, you will be wrapped completely in cloth linen wraps, a mylar body blanket and a cozy microfiber blanket. Enjoy a focused foot and head massage as the heat intensifies the detoxification process.

Signature Facial (60 minutes) ~ $80
Our custom facial begins with a one on one consultation with a Professional Esthetician to evalute your skin and ensure the products used are customized to your skin type. The facial includes deep cleansing, exfoliating, masking, extractions, and moisturizing along with some of our signature treatments and massage. Ideal for clients of all skin types to deep cleanse your pores, revitalize your skin and leave you with that nourishing healthy glow.

Vitamin C Facial (75 minutes) ~ $125
Ideal for the client with anti-aging concerns.  Vitamin C rejuvenates skin cells damaged by the environment, clarifies, brightens, helps reduce brown spots and promotes an overall more youthful appearance. Along with elements our Signature facial, you will receive revitalizing cleansing and moisturizing treatments through products rich in Vitamin C and other anti-aging minerals.

The $700 Facial (2 hours) ~ $200
National Top Spas charge more than $700 for this serious skin repair session. It combines our Signature Facial, Microdermabrasion or Glycolic peel, an intensive Collagen mask, a Bright Eye contouring treatment, and a super soft hands and feet treatment.

Acne Control Facial (60 minutes) ~ $80
Acne isn’t inevitable, it’s controllable. This session helps clear problem, congested skin and helps to prevents scars. This facial combines elements of our Signature Facial with professional products dedicated to acne control and prevention.

Microdermabrasion (30 minutes) ~ $80
A procedure created to thoroughly exfoliate the outermost layers of the Epidermis. Clients can expect less visible fine lines and wrinkles, lightened hyperpigmentation (sun spots),scarring, minimized breakouts, more even skin tone and texture. This treatment includes a “mini facial”. Not appropriate for anyone currently taking Accutane or those with sensitive skin.

Glycolic Acid Resurfacing Treatment ~ Add to any facial $30
This clinical strength glycolic (AHA) peel aids as a natural skin exfoliant and moisturizer. Not only does the glycolic acid work to break up the skin surface cells (where signs of age and sun damage appear), it also draws moisture to the newly exfoliated skin surface. The results are a much smoother, youthful appearance. Ideal for clients experiencing signs of aging, acne scars, sun damage, fine lines and wrinkling. Also great in helping to control severe acne. Not recommended to do in combination with microdermasion for many skin types.

Collagen Infusion Treatment ~ Add to any facial $30
Our skin produces less collagen over time. Give your skin a boost of intense hydration and rejuvenation through our Collagen Infusion mask, rich in proteins and natural lipids.

Decollete’ on Display ~ Add to any facial $40
Upgrade our Signature Facial to include the delicate and often overlooked skin of your Decollete’. Increases appointment time to 75 minutes.

Recommended for congested, problematic skin. Includes a thorough cleanse, exfoliation, and extractions of blackheads and pimples.
