Inn at Playa del Rey

The Inn at Playa del Rey, just named by the travel editors of the Washington Post as one of their three favorite hotels in the world, is only two blocks from the beach, five minutes from LAX, and twenty minutes from downtown. Despite its convenient location, it feels very far from the city as it overlooks both the blue waters of the Marina and a 300 acre bird sanctuary.

California beach fresh interiors feature views, decks, fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs, fine white linens, and special touches in every room. For the business traveler, each room is equipped with data ports, voice mail, and large desks, with additional meeting rooms and an office center available. At the inn, you can be as active or laid back as you want to be. A 30-mile-long bicycle path is just blocks away. Or walk, jog or ride to Fisherman's Village in the Marina. If you'd simply like to revitalize yourself, try sunbathing on the wide stretches of beach at the end of our street or enjoy the sunshine on your own deck or in our private garden.

Shopping

Some of LA's most unique shopping is right in our backyard. Visit the upscale boutiques of Manhattan Beach or the funky shops of Venice Beach and Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade is a short drive away.

From Los Angeles International Airport:

• Take Sepulveda Boulevard North to Lincoln Boulevard (Rt. #1) North.
  (Lincoln splits from Sepulveda about 1/2 mile north of airport -
  just stay in left hand lanes and bear left onto Lincoln.)
• Continue north on Lincoln 2.5 miles to the light at Jefferson Boulevard.
• Turn left on Jefferson and travel almost 1 mile west to the end of Jefferson to Culvert Boulevard.
• Turn left on Culver -
  Continue 1/2 mile on Culver to the Inn which is on the right at 435 Culver Boulevard.

From other points North or South:

• From 405 Freeway north or south; Take the Marina Freeway (90) west
  about two miles and exit at Culver Blvd.
• Turn left onto Culver Blvd and proceed about two miles.
• We are the first building you reach, on the right side,
  at the intersection of Nicholson and Culver Blvd.

From most Rent-a-Car agencies:

• Westchester Parkway west to Pershing Drive; turn right on Pershing.
• Bear right at the "T" and cross Culver Boulevard into our driveway (a five minute drive).

Note: Culver Boulevard and Lincoln Boulevard intersect inonly one direction:
Culver Blvd. - Each as a connecting ramp to Lincoln Blvd., North -
All other Culver/Lincoln connections and accesses must use Jefferson Blvd.
