The Gray Pine colors are shades of gray with a hint of violet-blue and a touch of silver. A lofty Penthouse Level perch offers local views of the Gold Country. The spacious private covered porch, with its secluded couples deep soaking Spa tub, can be enjoyed rain or shine. The Gray Pine is a perfect couples romantic getaway. Includes private entrances yet, shares a kitchenette with the Madrone. The large wrap-around porch works nicely when two couples share the Gray Pine and Madrone.

The Madrone room is our largest room located in our newest building just a short walk from the main building. Soft warm colors reflect the light that pours in from many windows while the vaulted ceiling gives an expansive feel. This Upper Penthouse Level retreat has a view of the pond and local Sierra Nevada foothills. The Madrone is perfect for a couple, girls getaway or family stay. To sleep four just pull out the comfortable queen sofa bed when you’re ready to retire. A covered private outdoor Couples Deep Soaking Spa Tub, and table and chairs is just outside your door. The Madrone has private entrances yet, shares a kitchenette with the Gray Pine. The large wrap-around porch works nicely when two couples share the Gray Pine and Madrone.

The Cottonwood room comes complete with garden bird songs and is a peaceful haven retreat. Cottonwood and Cypress rooms connect through a private hallway allowing them to be used as a two-room suite.

• Families and Children Welcome: Our large facility, with extensive soundproofing and, a variety of room configurations, makes this a great Bed and Breakfast for families. However, most of our guests are couples getting away for some romance and peace; therefore we ask that you be sensitive to their needs regarding the control of your children. Please call if you have any questions as to what would be the best accommodation for your family.
• Dog Friendly: We are dog friendly in some rooms; however, bringing your dog requires our pre-approval and is subject to our Dog Policy. Please call to inquire.
• No-Smoking-Campus: As a courtesy to staff and guests we operate as a No-Smoking-Campus. Yet, if you must have a smoke please let us know: 1) we will provide you with an ashtray and, 2) we’ll suggest a place to smoke down-wind from buildings and other guests. You may not smoke on decks, porches or in the outdoor tubs etc. If you smoke in a room, cleaning costs and lost revenue will be added to your bill.
• Deposits: One-Night-Stays must be prepaid in full with a credit card or other agreed upon means. For stays 2 nights or longer, we require a deposit of one-half (50%) of the reservation total. Your balance is due upon checkout. Cash, checks and all major credit cards are accepted. Most Gift Cards Accepted
• Cancellations: In the unfortunate circumstance that you have to cancel your planned stay with us, a 10-day notice is required. If we can re-book empty room(s) to a full occupancy status over the entire reserved period, the re-booking proceeds are refunded less a $25.00 service charge. Rain checks are given at the innkeeper’s discretion for non-Saturday stays.
• A stay of 4 or more nights requires a 14-day notice of cancellation. A 60 notice of cancellation is required for Special Events and Blocked Rooms. The same terms as above apply in other respects.
• Discounts: Special packages and discounted rates are only applicable at the time of the initial reservation.  Discounts and Specials cannot be combined.
• Blocked Rooms Policy: Advance reservations for Blocks of Four or more rooms requires: 1) Deposit 50% in advance with the Balance Due 60 days prior to arrival, 2) failure to pay the Balance Due within 60 days of arrival automatically cancels your reservation pursuant to our Cancellation Policy below, 3) Blocks of Four or more rooms require the approval of the innkeeper, 4) Blocks of Rooms may be charged an additional “Displacement Fee” during peak times (see details below), typically weekends, 5) multiple reservations that add up to a Block of Four or more rooms are subject to our Block of Rooms Policy.   If your guest calls to pay with their credit card, and you have paid the deposit or in full, we can refund to your card pro rata and assign them to a room.

• Displacement Fee: If you call us we can discuss whether or not the Displacement Fee will apply.  If you book a Block of Rooms On-Line we reserve the right to levy the Displacement fee at any time.  Four rooms incurs a displacement fee of 15% and 5% more is added for each additional room.  Thus, at 7 rooms the Displacement Fee is 30%.
• Cancellation Policy for Blocked Rooms: If you cancel prior to 60 days in advance we will refund your money less a $25 cancellation fee per room. If you cancel within 60 days of your arrival you are responsible for the full amount; however, we try to be as fair as we can. Therefore, if we can re-book empty room(s) to a full occupancy status, the re-booking proceeds are refunded less a $25 service charge per room.
