Oakland is a magnificent city to visit. Oakland was ranked #5 on the "Top 50 places to see in 2012".
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?
"What a fabulous home!" Many guests say it is their "home away from home".
What’s the best kept secret about the area?
The best kept secret is the beauty of the area. We have over 100,000 acres of parkland surrounding the city.
If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?
Oakland has the world's greatest jazz clubs, great theaters, and parks for hiking and outdoor activities.
Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?
We are close to regional parks, Mills College and Holy Name University.
What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?
Oakland is blessed with many great restaurants.
