Our beautiful bed and breakfast Inn is located in the center of historic downtown Napa. Beazley House is just steps from Napa's old town Trolley line to the Oxbow Market, Victorian Neighborhoods, the Napa River, gourmet restaurants and Napa's Premium Outlet shopping. Beazley House is the perfect Wine Country bed and breakfast for exploring Napa and the surrounding Wine Country.

The Beazley House, a wonderful circa 1902 mansion, was founded in 1981 in historic old town Napa by Carol and Jim Beazley, Napa's first innkeepers. "Some of our friends thought we were nuts, but the only thing we were afraid of was not getting the chance to try," says Carol. "We sold everything we owned to make the down payment." And the rest is history. "The inn sits on half an acre of lawns and gardens, and is an easy walk to Napa's gourmet restaurants and wine tasting rooms," Jim said.

The Beazleys have always been quick to add the amenities which they found their guests desired. By 1989 all of the ten guest rooms had private baths. Six of the rooms have fireplaces and five have private, two-person spas. Carol and Jim continue to personally manage the inn.

In May 2001, the Beazleys purchased another circa 1900's mansion just two doors west of the Beazley House. The property has been turned into Napa's newest luxury inn named "The Daughter's Inn." In May of 2007, the Daughter's Inn was sold to Jim Gunther & Jamie Cherry of San Francisco, CA.

The Beazleys are involved in the Napa community. Jim has twice been President of the Napa Valley Conference and Visitors' Bureau and a director of the Napa Chamber of Commerce and has served on the City of Napa's Cultural Heritage Commission. Carol also served on this commission in the late 1980's.

Jim & Carol have been active in Napa's community of innkeeping helping organize the Historic Inns of Napa. They are founding members of the statewide organization the California Association of Bed and Breakfast Inns (CABBI) and charter members of the Professional Association of Innkeepers International.

For breakfast you'll find a delicious buffet of fresh-baked muffins or breads, with perhaps a crustless quiche or some other hot gourmet treat. There will always be a variety of fresh fruits with yogurt, granola and sweet orange juice and a selection of teas and steaming coffee, ground fresh with each pot. It's over breakfast that guests are guided to the best the Wine Country has to offer, including special, hidden places known only to the innkeepers.

We're DOGGONE Pet Friendly!

We have three rooms* in our Carriage House which walk right out onto our gardens! And, for those on a budget, we have rooms in our Mansion* too! Our pet fee is an additional $30 per night.

PET POLICY: While we welcome well behaved dogs, we do so with the following expectations: No more than 2 dogs per room. Pets must not be left in your room in your absence. Any damages incurred because of your pet will be added to your bill. We charge a $30 Pet fee PER night.

The Beazley House is ideally located in the California Wine Country just north of the Napa Valley College. This B&B is so much more than a hotel; it's more like having a friend with intimate knowledge of the Napa Valley. The Beazleys will direct you to wineries, wine tours, the Napa Valley Wine Train, hot air balloon rides and spas. They will even book your dinner reservations at one of the many Napa restaurants within walking distance of their inn. For small weddings in the ultimate vacation/resort destination that is Napa, there is no better location than the Beazley House. The town of Napa is surrounded by vineyards where you can go wine tasting, take a bike tour or play a round of golf at championship courses.

The Beazley House offers an intimate and charming atmosphere with its turn-of- the-century mansion and lush English-style gardens. Beautifully landscaped and filled with bright flowers, the Beazley House gardens are nestled between the Mansion and its Carriage House, making it the perfect setting for your intimate Napa Valley wedding.

Jim & Carol Beazley, owners, have involved their daughter, Sonja Beazley Burch, in the family business from the very beginning in 1981. She has coordinated over a hundred weddings & special events at the Inn. In so doing, she has established valuable contacts with the best local photographers, florists, and wedding professionals.

Intimate Weddings: $3,000

Facility fee includes:

• Lodging for two nights in a romantic Carriage House room with a whirlpool spa tub and fireplace
• (*Three-night minimum stay required if the stay involves a Saturday, high season May - October)
• Site fee for 2 hours
• Coordinating services.
• Non-denominational Ministers fee (list of available officiants provided)

There is a $30 per person charge for guests. Maximum guest count is 30. Larger ceremonies with an exclusive Napa Valley winery reception available on request.

For the courtesy of our other guests we schedule only one wedding per day.

Dining in Napa is a culinary experience of a life-time. Many of our favorite restaurants are within walking distance of the Beazley House. Built in 1879, the Napa Valley Opera House is an architectural masterpiece and one of Napa's most significant historical landmarks. With just 500 seats, this intimate theater has proven to be an especially popular, where audiences and artists can connect in spontaneous and magical ways.
