Start your morning in the Napa Valley with one of our acclaimed breakfasts prepared by 1801's private chef. Relax in our dining room or cozy sun porch with a cup of custom-blended coffee and the morning paper while you enjoy a leisurely and plentiful breakfast that will delight even the true gourmand! Guests will enjoy private breakfast dining on individual white clothed tables with gracious table-side service. Each morning the temptations will vary but will always include a decadent hot entree inspired by the Chef, along with fresh baked breads and fresh fruit. Each of the daily culinary choices will feature local and organic products whenever possible. Guests may choose their preferred dining time and will enjoy several entree choices each morning. This is truly a 'not-to-be-missed' event!

Each evening guests can enjoy local, quality wines and delectable appetizers. Soaring above the valley in a hot air balloon is certainly a favorite activity. Trips depart very early each morning, weather permitting, and usually include a champagne brunch after the flight. Below is a reputable company that we recommend.

Take Highway 101 north to the Bay Bridge (Hwy 80), continue on Hwy 80 east over the Carquinez Bridge to Hwy 37 west, to Hwy 29 (also labeled Sonoma Road) north. Exit off of Hwy 29 north onto First Street in Napa, and turn right at the end of the exit. Take your second left onto Second Street (one way). From San Francisco via Golden Gate Bridge
Take Hwy 1 north to the Golden Gate Bridge, to Hwy 101 north, to Hwy 37 east, to Hwy 121/12 Sonoma Napa exit, to Hwy 29 north. Exit off of Hwy 29 Exit off of Hwy 29 north onto First Street in Napa, and turn right at the end of the exit. Take your second left onto Second Street (one way). From Oakland Airport
Take Hegenberger Road to HWY 880 N towards Berkley/Sacramento, to the HWY 580 W junction. Then take HWY 80 E to HWY 12 W towards Napa/Sonoma. You'll come to an intersection at HWY 29, make a right to come north on HWY 29. When you come to an Y in the highway, ignore the sign that says "downtown Napa". Stay to your left and on HWY 29 N towards Napa/Calistoga. Take the First Street exit and go straight through the intersection at California Blvd. Make a left on Second Street to Jefferson. Make a left on Jefferson. Come one block to First Street, make a left onto First Street. We are the first driveway on your left. - 1801 First Street
