St. Bernard Lodge

Typical of bed and breakfast inn accommodations, The St. Bernard Lodge - located minutes from historic Lassen Volcanic National Park and strategically located on the National Park circuit in northern California - is comprised of seven private sleeping quarters that are located on the upstairs level. As you ascend the staircase to the second floor of our bed and breakfast inn, you experience a sensation of stepping back in time a century or so ago, reminiscent of a simpler, unhurried era. The feeling of old-world charm can be felt in each of our vintage continental style rooms. The second floor offers 7 rooms and can sleep up to 22 guests. The picturesque hallway is adorned with vintage artwork and a mural sized picture of St. Bernard. The names we’ve assigned to our rooms tell you all you need to know about the experience you’ll enjoy at our bed and breakfast lodge: Sunrise (early morning sunshine), Woodland (native wildlife and trout pond outlook), Evergreen (views of Carter Mountain, Lost Creek and trout pond), Wildflower (afternoon sun), Yesteryear (turn-of-century furniture), Bluebird (blue shading, forest view) and Autumn (early morning sun, views of forest, trout pond, mountains and pastures). The restaurant and tavern on the first floor can accommodate up to 50 guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thus, those spending the night in their RV’s are welcome to dine with us. There’s plenty of room! Affordable group rates are available and have been extremely popular for family reunions, groups of friends, get-togethers, clubs and organizations and special events. We will also host your business retreats, wedding receptions, barbecues, as well as private business and family parties. Evergreen: Warm shades of burgundy and forest green will greet you as you step into this room with views of Carter Mountain, Lost Creek and the trout ponds. 1 King size bed. $95 per night. Double occupancy

Sunrise Room: Early morning sunshine illuminates this room with the soft shades of white and yellow. From this room you have a beautiful view of the mountains, forest, horse pasture and trout ponds. 2 Queen size beds. $95 per night. Double occupancy. $25 extra per person per night. Maximum 4 guests.

Wildflower: A light and cheery room which catches the afternoon sun. Lost Creek and the forest can be seen from the windows in this room. 2 Full size beds. $95 per night. Double occupancy. $25 extra per person per night. Maximum 4 guests.

Woodland:Watch the native wild life as you gaze at the trout ponds, forest and pastures from this room. 1 King size bed. $95 per night. Double occupancy.

Yesteryear:Step back into time when you enter this room with Gibson Girl prints on the walls and turn of the century furnishings. The forest can be seen from the front window. 2 Full size beds. $95 per night. Double occupancy. $25 extra per person per night. Maximum 4 guests.

Bluebird:Enjoy the comfort of a king size, sleep number bed. This room is decorated in shades of blue with a view of the forest. 1 King size bed. $95 per night. Double occupancy.

Autumn:Warm and inviting in the morning sun. Enjoy the views of the mountains, forest, pastures and trout ponds. 2 Full size beds. $95 per night. Double occupancy. $25 extra per person per night. Maximum 4 guests.

Policies

• We gladly accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and Amex, check or cash.
• At the time of reservation we gather credit card information to secure your reservations.
• Any cancellations or changes to your reservation require 10 days notice prior to arrival date.
• Cancellation fee of $20 per room for first night lodging will apply.
• If less than 10 days notice is given the full room rate will apply.
• Room price includes breakfast each morning, wine and hors d'oeuvres each afternoon. The room rate is based on 2 person occupancy.
• There is an additional charge of $25 per night for each additional person in a room, maximum of 4 guests per room.
• Check-in: between 3 and 5 pm, Sun. thru Thursday; 3 to 8:30 pm, Fri. and Sat. Arrangements can be made for early or late arrivals by calling the lodge.
• Check-out is 11 am.
• Sorry, no pets allowed.
• Smoking is not permitted in the lodge.
