Loomis Bed and Breakfasts

Loomis is an old-fashioned, rustic, largely residential community at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Placer County, California. For the past 20 years, Loomis has held its annual Eggplant Festival, which features international foods, arts and crafts, contests, and all sorts of entertainment. Attendance is free of charge. There is also an annual tree-lighting ceremony in the town each December. Loomis boasts a number of golf courses, cycling and hiking paths, and a local library. Folsom Lake, just ten minutes away, offers facilities for horseback riding, boating, fishing and camping. San Franciscos exciting harborside and Nevadas beautiful Lake Tahoe are both only an hours drive away. There are both formal and informal eating places in and around town. Locals frequent Main Drug on Taylor Road, which still dispenses sweet treats from its original classic soda fountain. For pizza and other Italian foods, they go to Carino's at 6600 Lone Tree Boulevard in nearby Rocklin.
