An intimate Wine Country Bed and Breakfast inn, the Haydon Street Inn is located in the friendly, picturesque Sonoma County town of Healdsburg -- on secluded tree-shaded grounds in a quiet residential neighborhood. You'll feel at home in this Queen Anne Victorian, built at the turn of the century. Relax in one of our antique furnished parlors, on the curving front porch--complete with rockers and a porch swing, or to the sound of falling water in our colorful, award-winning gardens.

Just a short walk away is the historic town plaza with its dozens of fine boutiques, antique shops, and Sonoma restaurants.

Meet the Innkeepers

John Harasty and Keren Colsten purchased the inn in May 2006, to fulfill their dream to own their own business and live in beautiful Sonoma County. John was the executive chef at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky for 12 years. Keren's background includes hospitality (Palmer House Hilton) and administrative work in law, insurance, and management consulting.

Breakfast

We proudly serve Wolf Coffee (roasted nearby) in our French presses every morning, gourmet tea, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and fruit. Entrees may include Eggs Benedict, Stuffed French Toast, Citrus Blueberry Pancakes, Croissant Egg Strata, or one of many styles of quiche or omelet. These are supplemented with tasty potatoes, a side dish of meat, and fresh-baked breads, muffins, or other treats. With 48 hour notice, a special diet can be prepared for you and continental breakfasts are available for early departures. Refreshments and cookies are offered in the afternoon and enjoy our favorite local wines paired with creative hors d'oeuvres at our 6 pm wine time every evening.

The inn was recently recognized by Sonoma County as recipient of the Excellence in Food Safety award.
