Policies

• Special events, certain holidays and holiday periods may require a two night minimum stay.
• Fridays, Saturdays, and certain holidays are at weekend rates.
• All rooms include complimentary full breakfast, served in our dining area between 8:00 and 9:30 AM Monday-Friday, and between 8:30 and 10:00 AM Saturday and Sunday.
• Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary red or white wine, sparkling pear cider, olives, cheeses, and crackers, in the Parlor between 5 and 7 PM daily.
• Please inform us at time of reservation of any dietary or allergy considerations.
• Reservations office is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
• Applicable city, county, and state taxes are not included in published rates.
• Room rates, tax rates, and policies are subject to change without notice.
• Cash, major credit cards, travelers and bank checks (with appropriate ID) accepted.
• When cancellations are made within 7 days of scheduled arrival, guest is responsible for the full amount of the scheduled stay, unless we are able to re-rent the room(s). Please note that certain holidays, holiday periods, and special events (such as our annual Art & Pumpkin Festival) may have significantly different cancellation requirements. If in doubt, please call us before booking online.
• We do not give credit or refunds for early departures, unless we are able to re-rent the room(s).
• No-Shows are charged for full scheduled stay.
• Cancellations must be made by speaking directly with the innkeeper via the telephone -- email or answering machine messages are not acceptable. To assure proper credit, please be sure you request, and make note of, your cancellation number.
• Check-in: between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
• Special arrangements must be made in advance for arrivals later than 7:00 PM.
• Check-out: 11:00 AM.
• Inn tours are available by appointment between 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM.
• Not recommended for CHILDREN under 12 years old.
• Your PETS will be happier at home, since we do not have comparable accommodations for both you and them.
• For the health and comfort of all, we invite our guests who SMOKE to do so only in the garden.

You'll spend enchanted nights in our "Princess Anne" 1898 Victorian B&B. A lush and fragrant English-style herb and flower garden provides a tranquil setting for romance, rest and relaxation, or pleasant conversation beside gurgling fountains. The atmosphere of the Inn is friendly and informal. The parlor is the center of activity. Decorated with classic and custom-designed furniture and Kathy's plein air oil paintings, the parlor offers an assortment of current magazines, games, and video taped films as well as wine and cheese, nuts, and candies for all to enjoy. Your hosts and our gracious staff will greet you with warm hospitality and provide any assistance you need to make your visit most enjoyable and memorable.

Typical breakfast offerings can include lemon-rosemary or banana-coconut crumb cake, ginger or cranberry muffins, "quiche du jour", lemon-cheese pancakes with strawberry syrup, chili rellenos, zucchini souffle, basil featherbed eggs, or eggs benedict. Breakfast always begins with orange juice, freshly ground custom-roasted coffee, regular or herbal teas, fresh seasonal fruit and delectable breads. All our cakes, muffins, and breads are baked right here at the Inn. "A world away...but ever so close" The peaceful coastal village of Half Moon Bay is just 28 miles South of San Francisco and less than an hour from San Jose and the Silicon Valley. Walk to fine restaurants, art galleries, fascinating shops, and our beautiful crescent-shaped beach. We're looking forward to the pleasure of your company!
