Welcome to English Tea Garden Inn, A Sonoma Wine Country Bed & Breakfast located in Cloverdale, California - gateway to abundant Sonoma and Napa Valley wineries, the Russian River, the Mendocino Coast and a short drive to Healdsburg, Geyserville, Santa Rosa and the historic town of Sonoma in the Sonoma Valley. This lovingly preserved Victorian was built in 1879. Extensive restoration has made this one of the loveliest and most sought out historic Bed & Breakfast Inns in Northern California.
We are dedicated to providing Sonoma Wine Country visitors with the utmost in gracious hospitality and upscale lodging. Our guests enjoy many modern comforts including wireless internet and air conditioning. The English Tea Garden B&B Inn has four expansive suites with extensive luxury amenities. The river provides a venue for swimming, canoeing, rafting (both float and whitewater varieties), fishing, boating (sail and motor), and all styles of relaxing.The town of Cloverdale, "Where the Vineyards Meet the Redwoods," is populated by 7200 citizens and offers a quiet setting where visitors can stroll down tree-lined streets, past vintage homes and churches, or discover the Russian Rivers' many good fishing spots. To add to your enjoyment, Innkeepers Cindy and Gus Wolter have created a romance package that includes their own wine: Pieta Creek.
We offer you a warmhearted welcome to English Tea Garden Inn. We have owned the inn for six years and previously owned Vintage Towers Bed & Breakfast, also in Cloverdale. We greatly enjoy meeting people from all parts of the globe. Helping our guests have an excellent, first class, relaxing, and memorable visit to the wine country is our primary goal. We have prepared our guest rooms to be both stylish and comfortable. Our breakfast cuisine is homemade and of the finest ingredients. And our personal concierge services are tailor made for a guest's particular tastes and needs. While you might come as a stranger, we feel sure that you will leave as a cherished friend.

Relax in the lovely front parlor and cheerful dining room with it's bow-front windows and high ceilings. The room rate includes a freshly prepared full gourmet breakfast. The delightful morning meal is a three course affair served in the candle-lighted dining room. Breakfast includes fresh fruit and homemade baked goods as well as an entree like Deep Dish Omelet Florentine or Dutch Apple Pancakes. Coffee, tea and other morning beverages are also available.This lovingly preserved Victorian was built in 1879 and has seen many changes over the years. For example, English Tea Garden Inn was previously an emergency hospital and nurses quarters. Extensive restoration to the inn and gardens has made this one of the loveliest historic Bed & Breakfast Inns in Northern California.

- Take route 80 West to route 12.
- Take route 12 to Napa, follow the signs to Napa.
- Once over the Napa bridge take Route 29 North. It will turn into Route 128 west.
- Once you get past Calistoga the road becomes very winding.
- Take 128 west to route 101 north.
- Stay on 101 till you get to the 2nd exit for Cloverdale marked Citrus Fair Drive.
- At the bottom of the exit ramp turn left, under 101 to the light.
- At the light turn right onto Cloverdale Blvd.
- Follow Cloverdale Blvd to Third Street (first stop sign).
- Turn left onto Third. The English Tea Garden Inn is one block down, on the corner of Third Street and Commercial Street.
From San Francisco:
- From The Golden Gate Bridge, go North on Rt. 101, Approximately 75 Miles.
- Stay on 101 north till you get to the 2nd exit for Cloverdale marked Citrus Fair Drive.
- At the bottom of the exit ramp turn left, under 101 to the light.
- At the light turn right onto Cloverdale Blvd.
- Follow Cloverdale Blvd to Third Street (first stop sign).
