Apples is the only B&B in Big Bear that was originally designed and built in 1993 for the most discriminating B&B traveler and still personally operated by its original owners - Jim and Barbara McLean. With over 14,000 square feet, and 19 guest rooms, we have a room to suit your needs. Apples remains a place to rest, relax, and enjoy - the choice is yours.

Designing and building an inn from scratch gave us the opportunity to do everything the way we felt the discriminating bed and breakfast traveler would appreciate. In this spacious rose colored 15,000 square foot County Victorian reproduction home, we created guest rooms that are the ultimate in privacy and relaxation, all named after apples that hint at the decor therein. But we also designed common areas that allow for the friendly mingling so many B&B guests appreciate.
