Situated in North Berkeley's "Gourmet Ghetto", North Berkeley Lodging provides private retreats in tranquil garden settings. We are located in residential neighborhoods just three blocks from the home of world renowned Chez Panisse restaurant and cafe. These distinctive neighborhoods have many other cafes, bookstores, produce markets, bakeries and fine specialty shops including Berkeley's famous and original Peet's Coffee and Tea.

We are centrally located to public transportation and all other shopping to suit your needs. The University of Berkeley campus is within walking distance. The North Berkeley BART station is only six blocks away. The San Francisco and Oakland International Airports provide door-to-door shuttle bus services to Berkeley.

 From SFO International Airport: take hwy 101 towards downtown San Francisco and Hwy 80. Follow the signs to the Bay Bridge. Cross the Bay Bridge (toll-free direction) and stay on hwy 80 towards Berkeley. Exit at the University Avenue exit-stay to the right on this exit and take the Frontage Road. Follow the Frontage Road to Cedar Street (about 3 blocks) and turn right. Travel up Cedar about 1.7 miles to Bonita street and turn left.

From Oakland International Airport: Follow signs to hwy 880. Take 880 north towards downtown Oakland and Berkeley/Sacramento. Highway 880 turns into hwy 80 heading towards Berkeley. Exit at the University Avenue exit. On this exit you will have two immediate choices; either University Avenue or the Frontage Road. Take the Frontage Road to Cedar street and turn right. Travel up Cedar about 1.7 miles to Bonita street and turn left.
