Alturas Bed and Breakfasts

Modoc National Wildlife Refuge is located just to the south of Alturas. They have a festival called Fandango Days. They also have a place called Cedar Pass Snow Park that would be great for the skiers or snowboarders. Some area attractions around Alturas include: Cedar Pass Snow Park, Modoc National Wildlife Refuge, Warner Mountains, and Fort Bidwell. In addition, you would also take a look at the Modoc Volcanic Scenic Byway. Some nearby towns you might want to visit also include: Fort Bidwell, Lake City, Likely, Lookout, Newell, and New Pine Creek just to name a few. Canby also some wonderful historicial sites to take a look at. This is city has a place called Cedar Pass Snow Park that would be great for any skiers or snowboarders that wish to stop by and stay awhile. With lots of snow and trails for skiers and snowboarders this would be gem.
