Welcome to The Inn at Mountain View, in Mountain View, Arkansas; the Folk Music Capital of the World! Built in 1886, the Inn is a Nationally Registered historic, AAA rated bed and breakfast just off the courthouse square.

Since 1886, when John Webb, a Civil War veteran, successful merchant, and Mountain View's first postmaster, opened his home, (then known as The Dew Drop Inn), to traveling salesmen, circuit riders, preachers and other weary travelers.

Even through several transitions from inn to boarding house back to inn, the house has maintained a reputation for hospitality. In 1977 this rambling house on Washington Street became full-fledged Bed and Breakfast. Stay with us while here on business or pleasure!

Now known as The Inn at Mountain View, it offers its own unique blend of warmth and comfort.

It all starts with visitors being welcomed by the large front porch with its alluring rocker that invites you to sit a spell and listen to the breeze in the Maple trees, renew old acquaintances, and build new friendships.

The Inn at Mountain View is decorated with beautiful antiques throughout. When you enter the front door, you are swept up by the old time southern country atmosphere...

You will love relaxing in the enchanting sunroom. Enjoy a musical interlude or just sit back, soak in the sun and atmosphere, compliments of the many beautiful antique fixtures which accent this charming room. The dining rooms at The Inn at Mountain View cover a spacious 400 square feet. Two seperate dining rooms with three 6' round tables with 3' "Lazy Susan." Seating for 30 guest. Fully equipped with beautiful china, crystal, and silver service.

The Inn supports 11 guest rooms, all with private baths, and serves a full country breakfast. Each of the Inn's ten guest suites is steeped with such comforts as a private bath, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and carpeting.
