Esta's White River Retreat is located on a dead-end country road, a short 20-minute drive to either Mountain View, known as the Folk Music Capital of the World, or Batesville, the second oldest city in Arkansas and the regional Medical Center for the area.

Mountain View is surrounded by the natural beauty and splendor of the Ozark Mountains and is less than 130 miles from Branson, Missouri, or Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Our private compound includes eight large riverfront log and cedar homes that are very unique, very upscale, and cater to people who insist on quality and service. With wonderful riverfront views of White River and the park like grounds of the compound.

During the hotter summer months, the clear cold water of the White River reduces the shoreline temperature 5 to 10 degrees lower than the prevailing temperatures. To take advantage of this natural air conditioning, we are constructing a Riverside Pavilion for special outdoor functions.

While visiting Esta's White River Retreat you will likely see deer, raccoons, mink, beaver, Bald Eagles, cranes, ducks, armadillo, squirrels, and many kinds of birds.

You will love the unique swimming hole. A sports field includes volleyball, basketball, and horseshoes. The parklike setting will allow you escape into a world of nature's special treasures and ease the tensions we all face in our day-to-day lives.

There are a large variety of other activities in the area from live music to historical and scenic tours, golfing, horseback riding, and many others. Spend a few minutes with your hosts on arrival, and they will help you plan your activities based on your interests.

When renting a cabin at Esta's White River Retreat, you are entitled to complimentary use of our boat ramp.

Pavilion, Pool and Gazebo

We specialize in large Family Reunions and small Corporate Retreats. If your group is between 16 and 60 people, we will arrange for 2 or more of the units as appropriate to accommodate your group size. We will be happy to help you put together a corporate package and will assist you with fishing guide arrangements and other rentals thru J-Mac Inc.

If you are planning a Wedding, Esta's may be the perfect location for a unique and beautiful wedding to be remembered forever by all. Weddings can be custom designed to meet your individual needs and can include 100+ guests. We can help you make arrangements for Floral, Photography, Caterers, Ministers, and other features you desire to make your Wedding Day extra special. Your choice of wedding settings would include around the pool, by our floating gazebo, or in our special covered pavilion.All of these locations are riverfront with beautiful views. The rehearsal dinners and wedding reception can be a part of the planned package. The price will include lodging for out of town guests of the wedding party. Our Wedding Packages start at a cost of $5,000 for the basic package and can be adjusted up or down depending on what your needs are.

Mountain View and the area are famous for great musical entertainers. Folk music, Bluegrass, Country and Western music are more commonly played. During summer especially on weekends and holidays, musicians converge on Mountain View setting up in several small groups all over the town square. At no cost, you can simply roam from group to group until you find the ones you like best. There are other great live entertainment theaters at modest prices in Mountain View that you will love.

The town is also a great place to shop for special arts and crafts and antiques. Golf courses, horseback riding, historical and scenic tours, and lots of other great places and activities are easily accessible.

With your advance booking or at arrival, Esta's White River Retreat will provide you a copy of a current local magazine that describes most of the attractions and entertainment available.
