The Petit Jean Room
Named for Legend of Petit Jean, the young French girl who couldn’t bear to see her love sail away to the new world. She sailed unbeknownst to him, as the cabin boy, and was undiscovered until sickness claimed her life on the banks of the Arkansas River. Filled with relics of military and sea regimen, the Petit Jean room reflects the strength required to leave family for a world unknown and the softness of the love that inspired the courage.
Done in dark walnut, the ornately carved high backed Empire queen bed is in striking contrast to the romantic blues and whites of the sitting area and the room-side marble sink and Pullman bath with shower.

The Majestic Suite
The Majestic Suite represents the Grandeur of 1930′s Hollywood and is located in our newly restored Carriage House. The décor is a wonderful mix of 1930′s Hollywood with elegant touches of 21st century Victorian.
A Gold Crown canopy over the King high back bed exudes the essence of stardom, and cradles you into a restful night’s sleep. Sink into the 1930’s antique sofa and chairs, warm up by the fireplace, or soak in the mirrored Jacuzzi. There is also a spa bath with massage jet shower, aromatherapy, steam shower and foot bath. Go ahead- slip between the luxurious linens, Gable would have!
