11 Singleton House is a Victorian Inn located in Eureka's Historic District, with plenty of parking and just a one block walk or trolley to downtown shops and cafes and spas. This carefully restored inn is whimsically decorated with an eclectic collection of country cottage antiques, folk art, and unexpected treasures.
Choose from a variety of light, airy, and uniquely furnished guestrooms, including two-room suites, some with two beds or outside entrances. All rooms include private baths, air conditioning, and Cable TV. Nest into the Starlight Jacuzzi Suite with its stained glass windows and private tree-top sitting area overlooking the award winning garden.

Choice Historic District location…quiet street away from the traffic noises, gardens, down to earth, homey, some rooms with TWO BEDS
What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?
Gardens, friendly & helpful staff, custom hand painted details with Country Victorian décor, casual, non-pretentious experience, Flexible check in time, Girl’s Day Out, Suite that sleeps up to five.
Guests can leave their car at the inn on the day they check out and walk downtown for last minute shopping and lunch.
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?
Honeymoons, romantic getaways and just to get away from hectic city lives, jobs, traffic...
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?
Room guest books have filled up over the years. Our guests feel at home, like they’ve known us forever and they do come back, so it’s like family. Some guests have returned every year for the past 28 years. One couple came by last year with their five children to show them where they spent their honeymoon.
What’s the best kept secret about the area?
The walking tour book for $3 with all the hidden paths that the locals know about; the downtown bank which should be museum, our lakes & dam, our colorful history, the photo books of Eureka by Stan K. only sold at our museum and online. Eureka’s 3 BIG fires.
If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?
A long list of Eureka’s attractions with links is emailed to all guests.
Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?
Historic District shops, post office, spas, cafes, library, Basin Park, parades, ghost tours...great location
What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?
We have a list of restaurants that is sent to incoming guests by email, plus books of menus are on site.
Any good area guides/websites that travelers could reference? How many rooms does your inn have?
We have a variety of 5 rooms each with its own personality, plus a honeymoon cottage at a separate location.
Do you accept pets?
Please ask about pet boarding facilities at time of booking so a space can be reserved ahead of time.
Begin your day with a full breakfast served on the balcony overlooking an America in Bloom award-winning colorful garden, iris-filled goldfish pond, and serene wooded view. Stony paths wind throughout garden, with birdhouses and surprises at every turn. After a serious shopping day,help yourself to iced or hot herbal teas and cocoa. A refrigerator and microwave are available for guest use. Porches with rockers and a swing allow you to "relax to the max."
