There are two elegant luxurious private-entrance jacuzzi suites in each of three houses all side by side in this exquisite location. These are not tiny bedrooms in someone's house... each suite has its own living room to relax in where you can enjoy the award-winning full-gourmet breakfasts that the inn's elf delivers each morning to your suite. Suites all have either private balconies, decks or porches where you can sip a glass of the complimentary wine or Champagne you find chilled and waiting in your fridge when you arrive or enjoy a cup of the inn's wonderful coffee in the morning while watching the world go by below. Innkeeper Sandra learned to cook in France on an 18th-century woodburning stove and she incorporates a lot of French recipes into the breakfasts which guests rave about. She has been a guest chef on a CBS-TV cooking show and her 288-page cookbook-memoir is a favorite souvenir with guests. It includes all her original recipes as well as stories of the seven years she spent sailing her 35-foot sailboat alone in the Pacific before coming to Arkansas to open her inn.
In 2009, Sandra married a wonderful fellow, Carl Rohne (from St. Louis) and he can often be seen chatting with guests about the history of the area. Carl earned his Ph.D in Medieval European History from USC and a Masters in History and Political Science from Stanford and as a medievalist, has had a stimulating time as professor at Southern Methodist University.
Sandra and Carl take great delight in helping guests plan fun things to do while they are in Eureka Springs ... whether it is a pampering experience at one of the many day spas, an afternoon cruise on Beaver Lake, an early-morning fishing expedition on the White River (Sandra will even share her secret fishing holes with you!), a carriage ride around the Historic Downtown, or a leisurely stroll through Lake Leatherwood Park, the second largest in-city park in America (just a few minutes' drive from the inn). The innkeeper is happy to make Passion Play, Hoedown or Music Show reservations for you, as well.

Cliff Cottage Inn offers one of the most intimate settings for weddings, elopement ceremonies, and renewal of vows among all Eureka Springs wedding locations. We can perform ceremonies for the bride and groom and up to four guests in our Great Room complete with cathedral ceiling, heirloom antiques and original art . . . . a very romantic and elegant setting especially in cooler weather when there's a fire burning in our pink marble fireplace... or out on our deck which is tucked into the three-story high rock bluff behind the Inn, next to a fountain.
Elopement Ceremony Package
Our Elopement Ceremony Package includes the use of our facilities, the minister and the photographer who takes photos throughout the ceremony. Cost: $499+tax. Optional extras: $75+tax, include a fresh-flower hand-tied nosegay bride's bouquet and matching boutonniere, Champagne for the couple to toast each other and a miniature wedding cake for the bridge & groom to share a bite and then take back to their luxury suite for midnight snacking.
No Marriage License? We Can Help
The Court House is directly below Cliff Cottage Inn, just 17 steps away so you can easily walk back down after your ceremony to drop off the signed license. If it is still office hours, they will validate it right there and give it back to you. The courthouse number is 479-253-8646.Courthouse hours are 8:30 AM to 4:15PM, Monday - Friday and 10:00 AM to 1:00PM Saturdays (Be sure to call the Court House ahead if you want to get the license on a Saturday because sometimes, holidays affect their Saturday hours.). Bring picture I.D. for both parties (drivers licenses will do) and both of you must be present to obtain your marriage license. You pay the courthouse for the license and it is $58, cash only. Cliff Cottage Inn's minister has the required Arkansas license to perform your ceremony and has married over 800 couples at the inn in the past 21 years.

Optional Extras...a better deal for guests
The Inn's elf is happy to set up any of the following "Optional Extras" for guests. (We've found over the years that our guests were actually losing money on packages as there are no refunds for portions of a package that you don't use, for whatever reason, like weather, etc. For example, if the package includes a carriage ride or Passion Play tickets and it is pouring down rain, you don't get a refund on that portion of the package because it was all bundled together as a package. Also, maybe a package contains a coupon for an Italian restaurant and you get here and find out that one of the best restaurants in Arkansas is just down the street from our inn. Again, you've lost money on the package. Soooooo, our elf offers you "Optional Extras" -- you pay the vendor direct for most of the items and we can always cancel once you get here if you decide you want to do something else. It's a win-win situation!)
