  • Insider's Info

Travelers are always looking for memorable and relaxing experiences. Let’s discover more through the words of our innkeepers. Many thanks to Patricia Sparks for sharing her own secrets with BBOnline.com!
Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

It is centrally located in Tucson and a good value.

What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

Most guests rave about breakfast and like that the inn is very comfortable and inviting. My favorite part is having the opportunity to meet such wonderful people – B & B guests are a very special group.

If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

The Sonoran Desert holds many spectacular sights. In the winter the warm sunny weather is an attraction, but in any season there is ample hiking and biking.

What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    It exceeded my expectations!

What’s the best kept secret about the area?

The stunning mountain views, especially at dawn and dusk when the shadows are so spectacular and unexpected, as is the couple of acres of unspoiled desert right across the street in the middle of the city. The B & B is also quite close to a major wash, so occasionally, even in this very urban setting unexpected wild life may visit -- I have seen havalina, bobcats, coyotes and lost of birds.

If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

There are several parks – Saguaro National Park, Sabino Canyon, Karchner Caverns; Museums – Sonoran Desert Museum, Bioshphere II; Gardens, Tucson Botanical Garden, Tohono Chul Gardens; Observatories --Kitt Peak National Observatory, Mount Lemon Sky Center; and the University of Arizona – Mirror Lab, State of Arizona Museum, Center for Creative Photography, etc.

Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    Shopping and dining.

What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

There are many, but Mexican is the one most guests request

Any good area guides/websites that travelers could reference?

    visittucson.org

How many rooms does your inn have?

    Three.

    Do you accept pets?

That is considered on a case by case basis.
