    A Valley O'the Sun Bed & Breakfast - Tempe, ArizonaEstablished in 1983, this economical bed & breakfast reflects its Irish heritage and is known as Arizona's only authentic Irish B&B. It is centrally located in the college area of Tempe yet close to the shopping, dining and other activities of Scottsdale. Comfortable guest bedrooms include a TV. Fax service is available. Enjoy a continental-plus breakfast with hot and cold cereals, danish or muffins, fresh seasonal fruit, juice and hot beverages. Occasionally a full breakfast is served on the weekends. Outside weddings are popular on the landscaped grounds. Visit the Pueblo Indian Ruins just five miles away.

    I discovered the Valley of the Sun bed and breakfast in 1989 when my son was a freshman at ASU. Kay is a friendly host and offers accommodations that are immaculately clean and comfortable. When you are staying with Kay you feel as if you are in your own home. I found the location to be extremely convenient. On days that I wanted some exercise, I could actually walk from Kay's down to the campus of ASU to meet up with my son. There are golf courses, museums, and restaurants near the Valley of the Sun. For anyone with a child in college, Kay's more than fair rates were a blessing. Kay Curtis genuinely enjoys hosting guests and does everything she can to make your stay with her enjoyable.     I am a performer who does a show about Will Rogers throughout the country. For over 5 years whenever I am touring in Arizona I have always stayed at Kathleen's little B&B. The rooms are clean and well appointed, the location great,and the price is right. Staying in someone's home sure does beat the local Super 8 or Holiday Inn. To top it off, Kathleen's casual and friendly manner makes it more like staying with family than being out on the road working. I highly recommend the Valley o' the Sun for any business person or vacationer who wants to keep a low overhead and get the kind of rest and hospitality that contributes so much to a succesful trip.
