  • Insider's Info

Travelers are always looking for memorable and relaxing experiences. Let’s discover more through the words of our innkeepers.
Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

My home is the perfect spot if you’re in town to see a game. The University of Phoenix stadium in Glendale is home to many football games throughout the fall and winter; the spring training baseball stadiums are close by; and there are a handful of impeccable golf courses in the area.

If you love to antique, Glendale is home to a number of great shops. And of course you can’t leave Arizona without visiting a Native American or Western museum – all nearby!

What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

Guests love the hospitality and all the unique and personal touches throughout my home. Beautiful paintings and hanging stained glass created by my husband welcome you the moment you walk in the door.
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

It’s a tie! Phoenix has some of the best weather in the country hands-down and if you love baseball, you can’t beat Phoenix during Spring Training season.

What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

Many past guests have told me that they feel at peace in my home.

What’s the best kept secret about the area?

The county parks nearby are beautiful and a great place to have a picnic or take a morning walk.

If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

You might want to take a hike or play a round of golf. For a day trip, consider a trip to Lake Pleasant. Finally, if you have the chance, take a drive over to the White Tank mountains or Deer Valley Rock Art Center, where you’ll find ancient petroglyphs.
Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

There’s a grocery store, a drugstore, a Subway restaurant, and a UPS all very close within walking distance.

What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?

Tagliani's Italian Restaurant – it’s authentic. Try the sausage lasagne. It’s delicious!
