The Clifton House B&B, located in Scottsdale, AZ imparts a warm welcome as an enthusiastic hostess welcomes guests to a private guest suite with private entrance, attached but separate from the main house. Everything is appealing from the spacious suite to the cactus garden and oasis in the backyard, to the peaceful patio with a fountain and fireplace.
The Clifton House B&B is close to a public pool, public golf, Scottsdale Fashion Square, Tempe, the Phoenix Zoo and the Desert Botanical Gardens and the Sky Harbor Airport. We are also conveniently three blocks from a walking and jogging path along the canal. Less time for commuting, more time for fun!The guest suite has a comfortable large sofa and occasional chairs, bay window, East Indian carved screens, plush carpeting, brass and glass tables, cable TV, and queen bed. The bathroom includes a Mexican tile bath with shower. The kitchenette has white cabinets, a refrigerator, microwave, and stainless steel sinks, and there is a drop-leaf dining table with two captain's chairs.

It is completely private and quiet. The hostess brings the breakfast to the suite/guestroom. It has a kitchenette, private entrance and private parking. It is close to public transportation.

In the winter months, guests enjoy sitting on the patio with a fountain, or sitting by the Mexican fireplace. Guests also enjoy picking oranges from the large orange tree.
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?
The beautiful winter weather and the mountain scenery. The cultural and sports events. Baseball training. International horse shows.

Hiking, museums, shopping, enjoying the many ethnic restaurants, antiquing, seeing Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesen, the Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens, the Phoenix Zoo.
Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?
A beautiful park with a lake with water birds.
What is your favorite restaurant/food in the area?
For steaks - historic Monti's La Casa Vieja in Tempe, for Mexican food, Los Olivos in Scottsdale, for fine food in a Spanish hacienda setting, Lon's at the Hermosa Inn in Scottsdale.
