    Each room has its own outside door with private or semi-private patio. Guests are free to explore the gardens, pool and fire pit areas. Bocce and Croquet games are available for guests use. In season (May – October), the swimming pool is open from 9:00am to 9:00pm. There is no lifeguard on duty. Those using the pool do so at their own risk. The unmanned artist's studio and gift shop is open daily. Guests wishing to make purchases should bring their items to the office to be included in check-out.

    There are no telephones or televisions in the guest rooms. There is a computer in the library for checking e-mail and printing boarding passes. Wireless internet is available in the library, living room, dining room and bar areas.

     John Wayne, the quintessential American cowboy movie star, stayed here when he visited his friend and business partner Ralph Wingfield, an owner of the Hacienda for 50 years. This two-room suite features a separate bedroom with a rugged Western-style queen sized bed, down comforter and pillows, a living room with a pull out single sleep sofa, VCR with a video library of John Wayne movies, guest refrigerator and a star-studded bathroom with a bubble tub. Its décor reflects the comforts that a huge Hollywood star could expect. Its French door opens onto a secluded patio and a Western sky.

      Aunt Jackie married George Parker an Arizona pioneer and one of the world's great white hunters. This double occupancy room combines American Indian and African ethnicities and features some of George's trophies, a bamboo canopy queen bed with down comforter and pillows, a guest refrigerator and a bathroom featuring a unique bamboo safari camp shower with pebble floor. Its door opens onto a private patio, the Eastern rose gardens and glorious sunrises.

      Salvador Corona aspired to be a great bullfighter, but the fates decided he would become a great artist instead. This spacious, colorful and eclectic Jr. Suite features a flower painted queen bed with down comforter and pillows, sparkling beaded curtains, a sitting area with day bed, a starburst over the dresser, guest refrigerator and brightly colored bathroom with a huge old fashioned claw foot tub complete with bubble bath. Its door opens onto the rose and cutting gardens and an Eastern sky with glorious sunrises.

    La Patrona

    La Patrona was the mistress of the household, a world traveler and collector. This spacious Jr. Suite with its king bed, down comforter and pillows, historic stone fireplace, guest refrigerator, limestone shower, Jacuzzi tub, azure glass water basins and rare shell collection reflects luxury seldom afforded a typical ranch wife. French doors open onto the West facing lavender garden and a beautiful view of the breathtaking Arizona sunsets.

    Meanwhile Back At The Ranch

    In remembrance of innocent times spent as a child at Uncle Roy's ranch nearby, this spacious two-room suite features Western ranch décor, a separate bedroom with a wrought iron queen bed, denim covered down comforter and pillows, a living room with two twin day beds, a guest refrigerator and a Mexican tile bathroom. Its door opens onto the Eastern gardens, a private patio, the fire pit and glorious sunrises.

    Casitas

     

    Separate from the Hacienda are three casitas. These accommodations are ideal for families with small children,
    approved pets and extended stays. Breakfast is not included, however each casita has a fully equipped kitchen
    where guests can prepare their own meals. Barbeques are also provided.
    Guests are to provide their own charcoal and lighter fluid.

     


    The Bunkhouse
    The Bunkhouse

     The Bunkhouse once housed ranch hands. It is now a spacious two-bedroom, two-bath casita with central air conditioning, television, a fully equipped kitchen, screened in porch and a charcoal barbeque. One bedroom has a king bed, the other has four twin beds. It is completely self-contained, handicapped accessible and has complete laundry facilities. Pets and children may be allowed. Pets require a refundable $100.00 damage deposit. Rates – Single or double occupancy. Extra guests are $25.00. There is no charge for children under the age of six. Maximum occupancy: 6

    Full breakfast is not included, however guests are welcome to prepare their own meals in their fully equipped kitchens. The kitchens are stocked with coffee, tea, juice and abreakfast snack basket. Breakfast at the Hacienda is available with 24 hours prior reservation. The price is $15.00 per person. Children 12 and under are charged $8.00. Maid service is available once a week or, if there are special needs, as requested. Barbeques are provided for guest use. Charcoal is not provided.

    Casita Cressey

    This rustic 100-year old adobe was once the ranch forman’s house. It has a living room with queen sleeper sofa and television, two bedrooms with double beds, full bath, fully equipped kitchen and a screened-in porch. Pets and children may be allowed. Pets require a refundable $100.00 damage deposit. Rates – Single or double occupancy. Extra guests are $25.00. There is no charge for children under the age of six. Maximum occupancy: 6

    Rates/Info
    • Hacienda Corona de Guevavi Bed & Breakfast is open year round.
    • All room rates are single or double occupancy. Additional persons are charged $25.00 per person per night.
    • A deposit equal to one night’s stay paid in advance is required to secure a reservation.
    • If cancelled 10 days or more in advance, there is a full refund less a $50 cancellation fee. If the room is able to be re-booked, there is no cancellation fee. If the reservation is cancelled less than 10 days prior to, there is no refund. Stays longer than a week require larger deposits and larger cancellation fees. No-shows forfeit the entire deposit.
    • Check-in time is 4-6 pm and check-out is at 11am. If checking in early or late, be sure to make prior arrangements with innkeepers.
    • Breakfast at any ranch is an important event and it is here too. A breakfast bar of coffee, tea, juice and homemade granola, is available daily from 6:30 until breakfast is over. A deliciously prepared and artistically served breakfast is served in the dining room or on the porch (weather permitting) between 7 and 9am.
    • Welcome refreshments are available in the bar during check-in from 4-6 pm. Guests at “Hacienda Corona are invited to visit in the living room, play games or cards in the game room, select a good book to read from the library or have refreshments and watch a ball game (if you must) in the bar. A small fridge in the bar is stocked with complimentary soda. Sample menus and directions to local restaurants are in the bar. Your hosts will be glad to make dinner reservations at the restaurant of your choice.
    • Smoking is not allowed in the Hacienda, courtyard or porticos, but is allowed in the poolside cabana. Please ask for an ashtray.
    • Well-behaved and closely supervised children over the age of 6 are welcome at the Hacienda. Younger children are welcome in the casitas.
    • There are no guest pet privileges at the Hacienda, however approved pets are allowed in the casitas. If you would like to bring your pet, there is a $5.00 daily charge and a $100 refundable damage deposit.
    • Horses are also welcome at Hacienda Corona. Horses must have all of their inoculations current and a current Coggins test. Horse board is $10.00 per day per horse. We feed alfalfa hay twice daily. Horses are kept in corrals. Round pen, exercise arena and turnout are available. Plenty of trail riding available. Private horseback riding lessons ($50 per hour) are also available. Be sure to make arrangements with Phil if you are interested.
