The tour will whet your appetite for whatever cultural and culinary treasures await you.Your morning coffee, afternoon tea, or evening snacks can be enjoyed in the parlor, an elegant yet comfortable living room boasting one of the many beautiful and historic pressed tin ceilings in the house. Snuggle by the volcanic rock fireplace, or curl up in the window seat and just watch the world go by.
Breakfast is served on the Sun Porch, a charming wooden porch with small-pane windows to the ceiling, showing off our beautiful skies. Breakfast may also be served on the outside deck , weather permitting. This is a great place to soak up our glorious sunshine. On chilly mornings, you'll be warmed by the Hearthstone stove, the perfect complement to a "snow globe" morning. The morning greets you with the aroma of freshly ground and brewed coffee, which is made available at whatever time you request, followed by a full, gourmet-healthy breakfast. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available anytime, as are juices and other cold refreshments. A fresh fruit delight precedes the breakfast entree, which is either an egg dish accompanied by locally fresh-baked breads or something on the sweeter side, hot off the griddle or out of the oven. Irish or old-fashioned oats are available on request, and special dietary needs will be accommodated as best as we can. It is our intent that your first meal of the day be your best.
You will always find something fresh-baked such as cookies, mint chocolate brownies, pumpkin muffins, or old-fashioned coffee cake, and a bowl of fresh fruit to help yourself to any time of the day or night. A late-night foray to the fridge for ice cream bars or milk and cookies is especially fun. Our soft, fluffy robes in your room come in handy for this!
