Romantic, golden yellow walls pick up the sunlight streaming through the two large corner windows. The gas corner fireplace visible from the bed make long winter nights with your special someone a time to remember. Just the room for a bottle of wine, chocolates, and a game of romance. Close to the south deck and the sauna. Very firm mattress. Ceiling fan.
Arizona Room
Downstairs, 1 Queen Bed, ADA
Watch the elk grazing behind the Lodge from this first floor room with its wrought iron and log queen size bed and custom made armoire. Biggest bathroom with comfort height toilet, grab bars. ADA compliant for persons with limited mobility. Quiet and cool in the summer, cozy in the winter. Southwest art, log bed, and warm beige hues make this a relaxing, welcoming room in winter and summer. Soft mattress. Ceiling fan.
The Bunkhouse
Downstairs, 2 Twin Beds
Rustic Western ambiance with two pillow top twin beds make this the perfect room for friends or family needing two beds. A cool room in the summer this room looks into the forest and is shaded by the tall pines. Awaken to a forest view and fresh mountain breezes. Firm mattresses with a soft topping. Ceiling fan.
Cabin Room
Downstairs, 1 Queen Bed
Casual and laid-back... just as a cabin retreat should be! Adventure beckons outside the window ~ a hiking trail, National forest, wildlife sightings and nightly elk migrations. Easy access to the sauna. It doesn't get more relaxed than this. One of the larger rooms with extra space to stretch out and a beautiful open view to the woods. Very firm mattress. Ceiling fan.
Sled Dog Suite
Upstairs, 1 Full-Size Bed, Fireplace, Dog & Child Friendly
This two room suite has a one full-size bed and cheerful gas fireplace in one room and a couch in the other. Four big windows collect the morning sun. An extra large closet and extra room for private "tea time" or working on the laptop. Small dogs welcome in this room for additional fee. AC.
Ranch Romance
Upstairs, 1 Queen Bed
Surrounded by sun filled meadows, this corner room lights up in the morning through its three big windows. A queen size bed with elegant western furnishings. Faux suede comforter, log furniture and western artwork make this a favorite with our guests. The mattress is firm with a pillow top. With a window on to the kennel house this room is best for those using the kennel to house their dogs. AC and ceiling fan.
Bear's Lair
Upstairs, 1 King Bed
Tile bathroom flooring, built in closet, chocolate and burgundy hued walls, a king size log bed, and comfortable private seating area. The quietest room in the Lodge, furthest from the common areas. Excellent view of the woods for wildlife and bird watching. Great choice for hibernating in the winter but cool and comfortable in the summer with it's west facing orientation, breezy ceiling fan and AC. Soft, plush mattress.
Forest Hideaway
Upstairs, 1 King Bed & Fireplace
Warm earth tones, deep red accents, chic, cabin-like and comfortable.Dim the lights and enjoy the glow of the electric fireplace. This room is the perfect hideaway for a very special evening or a romantic weekend rendezvous. Don't forget to order the Romance Package for your special someone. Plush mattress. AC.
Ponderosa Room
Upstairs, 1 Queen Bed
Watch the elk grazing in the Ponderosa forest out your window. Warm suede colors and a western theme compliment the log bed and furnishings. One of the quietest rooms in the Lodge, on the second floor and facing the west. This is a favorite with our guests. Denim duvet, rustic log furnishings and open views to the woods. Very firm mattress. AC and ceiling fan.
Kennel Cabin 1
Big dogs like our K9 Kennel Cabin. We keep spare dog beds, dog bowls, cleaning supplies, calming spray and other amenities for our furry guests. The vinyl floor and panelled walls make accidents an easy clean up. The decor is similar to the rest of the Lodge and it is equipped with a table and 2 chairs, leash hangers, it's own guest journal and a storage shelf. If your dog prefers to be crated when alone we also have big dog crates that can be added to the kennel at no extra charge. Kennel cannot be reserved separately-we don't board dogs without their owners!

Policies
Pets
- We have one dog friendly room for dogs 25 pounds or less
- We have a kennel house for dogs over 25 pounds
- We do not allow cats or exotic pets in any rooms or in the Lodge
Children
- Children 8 and over are welcome; please respect the quiet nature of the Lodge and the needs of other guests; do not allow children to use TV, computer or sauna without supervision and limit time appropriately
- Children between 3 and 8 may be accommodated depending on occupancy
- We are unable to accommodate infants younger than 3 because of the close proximity or our rooms
Reservations and Office Hours
- Walk in reservations accepted when staff present-advance reservations preferred
- Office Open- 8 am to 11 am and 4pm to 6pm, Monday -Saturday, 8am to 11am only on Sundays, Christmas and Thanksgiving. Emergency contact given on check-in
- Reservations by phone taken 8am to 8pm, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 11 am Sunday. If you miss us with Vonage Voice messaging your inquiry will generally be returned within a few hours
- On-line reservations available 24 hours a day. Make reservation now! Confirmation will be sent within 24 hours
- A credit card is required to confirm reservations
Cancellations
- Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance are not subject to any fee
- No shows and cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance of the first day of the reservation will be charged the full amount of the reservation
- Early departures are considered a cancellation of room nights and charged accordingly.
Check In/Out
- Regular check in is from 4pm to 6pm
- Self service check in is available after 6pm
- Early check in is generally not available in order to ensure all rooms are clean and ready for arrival
- Check out is 11am
- Late check out is generally available for an additional $30 fee up to 3pm. Check out after 3 is same as second night booking.
Breakfast, Snacks and Beverages
- Full breakfast is served in the dining room from 8-9:30 every morning
- Snacks including cereal bars and cookies, are available in the dining room at all hours
- Self-serve hot beverages-tea, hot chocolate, hot cider, coffee-are available in the dining room at all hours
- A small refrigerator and microwave are available for guests in the upstairs living room.
Technology
- Cell phone reception is good throughout the property
- Wi-fi is available throughout the lodge
- There is a TV for guests to use in the upstairs parlor
- Telephone is available in the entry for local calls.
