The menu may include sautéed apples in a hot cinnamon sauce or fresh local raspberries and cream. From the bedside diaries, guests' favorite entrées are the dungeness crab Eggs Benedict on home baked rolls, or the lemon soufflé hotcakes and thick cut smoked ham. History

In 1906, gold rush pioneer John Olds built one of the grandest homes in all of Juneau, high on the hillside, overlooking the bustling waterfront. Painstakingly restored to its original grandeur, today's Alaska's Capital Inn blends turn-of-the-century elegance with contemporary comfort.

Hosts

The Inn is also home to your hosts, Linda & Mark. Having lived, fished and paddled around in Southeast Alaska for more than half their lives, they are an excellent resource and are happy to share their local knowledge.

Follow road signs into the downtown area to a stop light at the corner of Egan Drive and Main Street. You can only turn left at the light. Turn left and go up the hill to Fifth Street and turn left again. We are the second house on the left. There is a lighted sign out front.
