Antebellum Winston Place

Step back in time to one of Alabama's most beautiful historical mansions, featuring large verandas and elegant inn lodging accommodations. Situated at the base of Lookout Mountain and only two miles from downtown Mentone, Winston Place is centrally located between Chattanooga, Birmingham and Atlanta. On the National Register of Historical Places, the impressive lavishness of the veranda, both upstairs and down, is undoubtedly one of the state's finest examples of how the master builders planned for open air living made possible in antebellum days.

Accommodations at Winston Place offer hardwood floors, sumptuous bedding, and an abundance of elegance. As soon as you slip into soft sheets and comfortable beds you will know luxury is an understatement here at Winston Place. Each suite has access to the veranda, a private bath and a luxurious feeling of the Old South. 4 private suites and rooms, each with private bath and some with a sun porch. Rental includes the use of: the first floor of mansion including two downstairs bedrooms for dressing and guest bathrooms, lower veranda, grounds, and parking.

Rehearsal Practice will be limited to 1 and 1/2 hours. Premises should be used for practice only.

Rental of the six guest rooms are available for 2 nights and serve well for out of town guests. all 6 rooms rent for an additional $1,000.00.

Rehearsal Dinner and Luncheons are considered separate events.
