Built in 1905 this beautiful colonial double veranda house is on the National Register of Historic Places. Rich in history, it was renovated extensively in 1993 as a bed and breakfast. Today, Somerset House continues the tradition of fine southern hospitality with its four elegant and comfortable guest rooms with large private bath, and full gourmet breakfast. Each guestroom features a fireplace, 12-foot ceilings, antique and antique reproduction furniture, private bath with Australian shower head, iron and ironing board, robes and slippers, hairdryer and upscale toiletries. There is one queen-sized bed in each room. The house has central air and heat throughout, in-room VCRs, CD players and cable television, plus wireless DSL internet.
