The Original Romar House Bed and Breakfast Inn

Room 1 is the Shrimp Festival Room. It is named after "The Shrimp Festival" that is held in Gulf Shores, AL, the second week in October each year. It has been named on of the top ten festivals in the southeastern United States and over 200,00 people attend each year. Don't miss it!

Room 2 is the Red Snapper Festival Room. Orange Beach, AL is known as the "Red Snapper Capital of the World". Some of the largest red snapper have been caught in the Gulf of Mexico south of the Romar House. 

Room 3 is the Frank Brown International Songwriter's Room. Hundreds of songwriters from all over the world come to the Flora-Bama sponsored Songwriter's Festival to sing their original songs made famous by celebrity singers at 30 different venues from Mobile to Pensacola during November of each year.

Room 4 is the Mardi Gras Room that speaks for itself. Hundreds of parades all over the South from New Orleans to Mobile to Pensacola lead up to "Fat Tuesday" every year. There is even a parade in Gulf shores and Orange Beach!

Room 6 is the Romar Suite that is the biggest room on the second floor. It has a complete set of "art-deco" furniture and the best view of the beach.

The Parrot House Cottage, named after the Purple Parrot Bar, is a completely separate cottage with a full kitchen, living room and a lot of other features such as a television, CD and other amenities. It is really special. 

The Original Romar House Bed & Breakfast Inn has five individually appointed rooms, one suite, and one guest cottage. Each of the rooms and cottage is named after a local festival or a name unique to the Romar House.

• Smoking permitted in designated areas on the deck. No smoking allowed in the Inn.
• Please no pets allowed.
• Wireless Internet throughout the entire house.
• Advance deposit of one night's stay required to confirm reservations.
• A two-night minimum stay is required. Three night minimum for holiday weekends.
• We accept cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard and American Express.
• The remaining balance of your stay's charges are due at check-in.

  30 days in advance of arrival date - Full refund less $30 reservation fee.
  29 - 14 days in advance – Deposit is non-refundable. Will be charged full rental amount but may choose alternate non-cancelable dates.
  13 days or less in advance – Deposit is non-refundable. Will be charged full rental amount unless we are able to re-book the room for the same time period
