This suite is upstairs in the main house, with a private entrance up the cedar stairs onto a balcony that overlooks the lily pond. The Tuscany Suite is our most romantic room, with a queen iron bed, velvet love seat and antique oak furniture. The second room has a copper surrounded Jacuzzi bath for two, and more antiques with a small toilet room adjoining. $129 per evening (2-night minimum stay on weekends)

If you are searching for truly unique vacation lodging, come to the Star of Texas bed and breakfast for a Texas teepee camping experience. Imagine spending your holidays in an authentic tipi, where the fire pits warm glow and crackling embers release the stress of the day. Dancing Buffalo Lodge, a 22' tepee with a native rock floor, queen size airbed, wooden camp chairs & Native American décor, will give you a chance to experience life as our ancestors did. We have a heated, outdoor, enclosed shower open to the sky. The public restroom is about 100 yards away, and there is water next to the shower. We can provide a bed, linens & towels, or you bring your own camp pads and linens & towels. We have coffee maker and some firewood. The Tipi does have electricity with lights. An outdoor fire ring is close by with a grill and wooden benches for sitting. Gather dead wood for this or cut wood is available for sale. Breakfast is served at 9 a.m. at the Garden Deck next to the Main house. Check in for the tipi is between 3 to 9 p.m. Rate: $95 per night if you bring bedding & towels; $115 per night if we provide bed, linens & towels.
